OBSESSION Part 2 Chloe confesses to Nancy that she still feels like the geeky unpopular high school girl she once was. Nancy points out the medicine man of her dreams is no saint and brings up his past, including the tawdry affair with Nicole. Chloe laments he broke off with Nicole as he only loves Jen, as deeply as he loved Rebecca. He would only end things with Jen if Jen asked him to. She cries Daniel and what they shared was all she ever wanted. What is she gonna do? Parker starts to cry and Nancy steps into the other room. Chloe tries to sip her tea and gets worked up about that blonde bitch not deserving Daniel. She admires a framed photo of father and son and suddenly decides everything is going to be fine. She has had an epiphany. Will solemnly starts to tell Gabi there is something she does not know about Nick. She anxiously asks what. Just then Nick appears, out of breath. Will bites his lip. Nick wants to know what is going on. Gabi explains Will thinks he wants to keep him out of the baby’s life. Nick insists he is leaving all visitation decisions to her and suggests he take his tired pregnant bride home. He puts a possessive arm around her and they leave together. Nick glances back over his shoulder. Will is exasperated. Jen has made Dan a sandwich at the cabin, but he bears a jewelry box. She excitedly opens it and marvels at the sapphire necklace. He hopes she likes it. She is thrilled as it is her birthstone. He places it around her neck and she gasps. He murmurs it is perfect. Jen thanks him for the exquisite necklace. He drawls it is literally one of a kind, like her. He is happy to have the right moment to give it to her. This night marks their new beginning. They share another kiss by the fireplace. They take each others’ breath away and don’t know what to say ... so they cease talking altogether. Brady thanks Eric for listening to his worries. Eric reminds him of the past. Brady considers that an inconvenient truth. He reminds the man of God that he is supposed to believe in forgiveness. Eric has forgiven Kristen and hopes she will have a long and happy life but ... Brady now indignantly complains that John lied to get something incriminating on his beloved. And Marlena was in on it. He bitterly brings up how she even broke into his fiancée’s room to set her up. Those two will not give up! Can they not accept that Kristen changed? People change, like Eric too changed! The priest blinks. Of course people can change. Brady explains he has changed too and credits Kristen for making him love again. He gets it is tough for Eric, given Marlena’s horrid history with Kristen. He wishes his brother could accept how happy his woman makes him and put the past aside. Eric patiently promises to work on it and thanks him for coming by. Brady promises to come by for coffee sometime soon. Back at the mansion, Sami uncomfortably clears her throat and EJ concludes it is time to go. They will be back in the morning. Kristen knows father will be pleased. Sami is anxious to get the kids ready for the move. EJ asks her to go ahead to the car so she does after repeating congratulations to Kristen. Once they are alone, EJ questions whether his sister still wants what she finally got. Kristen solemnly states she is sure of this. He wishes her happiness, in that case, and apologizes for their earlier conversation. They expect he will keep telling her what he thinks. She teases this will be like an Agatha Christie mystery with many suspects. And since this is the DiMera mansion, there will naturally be more than one crime! EJ laughs wickedly. Nick escorts Gabi back to her room and wonders why the silence. He had thought she would be excited about planning their move to the Kiriakis mansion. Gabi softly states Will said she does not know the real Nick. Does she? Nick stares. He then crouches down and emotionally tells Gabi he loves her more than he has ever loved anyone. They kiss. Back at the coffee house, Sonny embraces, consoles Will and hopes he is alright. Will updates him on Gabi assuring him he could be part of the baby’s life but Sonny remains convinced Nick will be a problem. Will also gathers she would do anything for the guy. Back at the mansion, Brady chuckles about sister Sami getting his engagement news from Kristen, instead of him. Kristen notices his improved mood. Brady has decided he has no worries and announces he is ready to set a wedding date. Soon! Kristen slyly agrees, her cat eyes narrowing. Jen admires her new necklace as Dan brings her cocoa and whipped cream. He hopes nothing is wrong. She thanks him for fighting for her. Dan declares the fight is now over. They are solid. Meanwhile, Chloe is staring ominously at the picture of Parker and Dan. Nancy returns and tenderly tells her daughter that giving up might be the first step in getting over the man. Obsessed Chloe numbly replies she is not giving up. Everything has become crystal clear and she now knows what she needs to do for Daniel, herself, and Parker! Her eyes widen with wild delusion ...!
