| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Thursday, June 28, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE GOODBYE GIRLS - Part 2 - Living Lexie is seen standing in the beautiful rose garden on the Carver TV. She asks Abe not to dwell on what they lost, but to remember all that they shared. She gushes about their wedding day, the happiest day of her life. So many amazing years. It was all worthwhile. “I have loved every minute of our life together.” She holds up a photo of Theo and calls him their angel. When they had him, their lives became complete. She knows he will be an incredible man, just like his daddy. Abe is crying. Kayla is crying. Jon and Marlena are teary-eyed. Lexie whispers that today she wants Abe to think of all the gifts they were given and celebrate the love they shared. She regrets not a second. “How could I? I got to spend it with you! Someday, we’ll be together again. And one more thing. Please do not walk out that door with having someone check your tie.” John, Marlena, Kayla, and Abe cry and laugh at the same time. Lexie declares she loves Abe with all her heart. “Until we meet again, my love.” And so ends the taped message. Abe whispers he loves her too. - Ian pours himself a drink and drawls Brady is in denial. He claims he wants to help and offers to book him a space at a rehab facility out of town. Brady scoffs he just wants Madison all to himself. Ian grins he already had her and no longer cares. Brady warns him he is not going anywhere! - EJ has ventured to the Carver residence in his suit. Abe asks him to be a pallbearer. Kayla whispers to the others that she still does not trust him. Abe reminds EJ he was Lexie’s brother and she loved him. EJ remarks they are family and will look out for one another. Abe pats him on the shoulder and agrees. - Roman gets a phone call with an update. It was not possible to obtain the search warrant after all. Rafe is exasperated. They need a warrant! Enter grinning Nicole. They need no warrant, they have her, and she has the biggest surprise! Rafe lectures her for breaking in and stealing evidence. She claims she was invited in and found something. She is ready to show them the evidence, but Roman reasons they cannot use it without a warrant. Rafe suggests they at least take a look, to be pointed in the right direction. She already tampered with the evidence anyway. Nicole places the box of bullets on the desk. “So, what do you think?” - Ian calls Brady an utter mess. Brady snaps it is all his fault. Ian taunts the truth is that he cannot handle the pressure. Madison is out of his league. Brady points out she loves him. Ian grins he does not think she will keep loving him with this ridiculous addiction He reaches for his phone. Brady tosses it across the room. “She loves me! I’m keeping her no matter what you do!” He gasps, violently shoves a chair, and sits down. Ian calmly wonders if he feels better. Brady slams the table and says yes. He continues gasping and sweating due to the drugs he has ingested. Ian asks if he wants an ambulance. No. Ian announces he must go to a meeting. He warns he will bill him for the damage. Brady grabs him and growls he knows what he did, plus he will prove it. “Good luck,” hisses Ian and he slithers out. - Rafe examines the evidence with gloved hands and is intrigued. Roman notes many people own guns. Nicole points out EJ never leaves bullets lying around the house. He is the kind of man who takes out a hit on an enemy if he wants them dead. This is not ordinary for him. Rafe asks for a moment alone with the commissioner. Nicole complies and steps out of the room. Rafe does not want to ignore the fact that there is one bullet missing. Roman reminds him the murder weapon was Abe’s gun. They have nothing here. Rafe exclaims they have unanswered questions. Why does EJ have a box of bullets that happen to fit the murder weapon? And why was he hiding them! Roman considers. - Everyone exits the house to venture to Lexie’s memorial service. Abe has forgotten his keys and goes back inside. He lifts up a family photo and cries to Lexie that he misses her. His heart is missing. He cannot imagine how to go on, but will keep his promise and make her proud. He kisses his fingertips and puts them to her face on the photograph. “I love you baby.” He turns out the lights and walks out. - Nicole has come back and asks if the case is closed. Rafe explains the illegal manner in which they got the bullets makes them irrelevant. Rafe admits there is a link, however. Nicole seems to hope they believe EJ is guilty. Rafe drawls he knows he is hiding something and he will not stop until he has uncovered exactly what it is …! END |
