Sonny sincerely hopes she did not change her mind about keeping silent about the video. Chad assures them she has not changed her mind. Will wonders what the problem is. Chad sits down and recounts his evening with the fair Abigail, which he happened to consider a date. Sonny points out she is seeing Cameron. He places a hand lovingly on Will’s shoulder. Chad insists things are not over between himself and Abigail. She might feel it too, even if Cam is a great guy. Will considers. It is true that Chad and Abigail broke up after the wedding but he actually did him a favor by blurting out the truth. It set things in motion and got him his daughter. Therefore, it is conceivable that Abigail would forgive him. Chad suddenly realizes he interrupted the guys, thanks them, grins knowingly, and takes his leave. Will and Sonny get back to where they left off on the couch. Jen unhappily flashes back to her disagreement with Dan over JJ. Abigail now returns home with the panda and a long face. Mama Jen wonders what is the matter. The girl in pink sighs she does not know where to start. She thinks she is a screw up! She thought she was ready with Cam but alas she was not. She feels embarrassed still being a virgin. Jen notes she was at that age too. Her daughter quips that was long ago. Jen grimaces. Abigail muses she had a great time with Chad, but Jen insists the DiMera boy is bad news! Abigail is surprised by her about face. Jen reminds her what he did at Gabi’s wedding, Besides, her daughter had said she felt close to Cameron. Sometimes, yes, but she cannot stop thinking about Chad. Jen calls this a confusing time in an attempt to steer her daughter away from the DiMera. The girl in pink stammers she has no idea how confusing things really are, then goes up to her room. Jen blinks. Gabi and Nick end up at the town square. He declares he is sorry she felt she had nowhere else to go with Arianna. Gabi notes things are good between her and Sonny now so it is a good thing. She asks if he is sending out resumes. He will. She suggests Sami, who had been keen on hiring him before. Nick notes they seem to be talking like strangers. Gabi complains that is precisely what they are! They walk and talk and he blames himself. However, he did mean all his promises and dreams about their life together. Gabi knows that, though he was lying to himself. They sit on a bench and he concedes that is true. After what happened in prison, he felt if he had the perfect family, with a beautiful wife and baby, the pain would all go away. He assures her she is still special and he will always care about her. It is his hope that they can at least be friends. Gabi shakes her unhappy head and gets choked up. She cares about him and wants him to get the help he needs. But what she needs to do now is to be a good mother and get things right. She does not want anything to mess it up. Nick cries she made the right decision moving in with Sonny and Will. They are good guys, so much better than him. Gabi emotionally sighs to take care of himself and walks away. Nick sniffles alone ... Marlena and Dan are discussing patients and hospital matters. She mentions Eric being out of town to fight for his school He hopes it works out. So does she. Given what happened recently, she would be lost without her son! Dan now gets a frantic call from Nicole in an ambulance. She is en route to the Salem hospital with Eric, who is in very bad shape and needs his help! Dan gets intense. Kristen smugly settles in at the DiMera mansion and sits down to look at her vulgar video. She is searching for the perfect clip of her tryst with the priest. Ding dong! Butler Harold is nowhere to be seen so she storms to the front door and opens it to the potion doctor. He hopes the formula worked. She says it did indeed. She offers him a drink to remembering tonight cos no one else will remember what really happened! So she thinks. Eric is wheeled into the hospital on a gurney. He has a high temperature, much to Nicole and Marlena’s chagrin. Dan the medicine man accompanies him. Roman races in, having been summoned by Marlena. Marlena becomes suspicious as her son was fine when he left, when he was alone. She demands to know how and why Nicole ended up in his room! Nicole tells the tale of the forgotten notes, her voice quivering. Daniel has to save him! Meanwhile, Dan shines a light into the patient's drugged eyes. According to the lab the white count is normal. Dan notes it is strange and stares. He decides to get the Salem patient started on antibiotics whilst awaiting the cultures. If anything changes, he orders the nurse to come to him. The machine beeps and Dan peers at the heart rate. Gabi returns as Will and Sonny sit up on the couch. Sonny grins and finishes buttoning his shirt. The baby is asleep. Will laments she will wake up soon. Gabi notes she will indeed for she is not yet a month old. Will heard as much from his mom, cos he never slept more than three hours. Gabi takes a bottle and goes into her room to nap. Will lies down and rests his happy head on Sonny’s lap. He wonders what kind of baby Sonny was. A brilliant one! Will teases he must have been a nightmare. Sonny admits mama Adrienne said he was a handful for years. Will now decides to go and sing to his baby girl. He and Sonny share a quick kiss and he eagerly goes into the other room. Sonny smiles. Dan bears news. The fever suddenly broke after they solved the dehydration problem. Marlena and Roman are relieved to hear it. So is Nicole. She calls him the best. Marlena thanks her and Dan profusely. Dan gives the parents permission to enter their son’s room. He now steps away for a word with Nicole. He would like to know every detail that happened from the time she found Eric to the time she brought him to the hospital She worriedly wonders why. Because this was no virus. Eric might have been poisoned! Nicole is shocked. Back at DiMera mansion, the doctor anxiously admits to Kristen part of his compound was corrupted so so the properties were not as potent as he believed. He cannot make any long term memory loss promises. Kristen rages that means Eric could remember everything with time! She curses and throws her glass at the potion maker. He ducks and it shatters against the wall, along with her dream of the perfect plan. Meanwhile Eric tosses and turns in his holy hospital bed. He is starting to come back to the land of the lucid ... END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Chad lets Cam know he intends to fight for the fair Abigail! Sonny clashes with Adrienne over Will. |
