Lucas, who is now wearing his robe, reassures her and offers to do the dishes. Sami, clad in a Salem University t-shirt, smiles he is spoiling her rotten and opens the newspaper. “Oh my God!” She shows Lucas the headline about their son starring in a gay drama. “Oh man!” frowns Lucas. He tries to reach Will but it goes straight to voice mail so he leaves a message. Sami is incensed about his private life being plastered on the front page. It is not right! All they had to do was say he had an alibi. Lucas cannot help but notice that Sam seems uncomfortable that their son is gay. Sami gasps she is. Lucas frowns. Does she want their son to be a closet case? No, but she dislikes the fact that Will could not decide how to come out on his terms and she does not want anyone to be mean. Lucas reasons the boy is tough and old enough, plus he has a supportive family. Matter of fact, he feels sorry for any homophobe who has to deal with the likes of Sami or Kate. Sami laughs, then mentions Roman. Lucas suggests she give him time. Sami is glad they are going through this together. Lucas remains concerned their son has not confided in them and continues to work for EJ. He suspects EJ is playing some kind of sick game with him. Sami suddenly decides to confront EJ. However, Lucas would rather she not go anywhere near that guy! - Will and Sonny have coffee and walk through the town square. Sonny speaks of Roman and others assuming he was straight for years, now having to get to know him in a new way. He wonders about Sami. Will admits it was EJ who talked some sense into her, plus he paid his bail and offered him his old job back. Sonny sincerely hopes he said no. He did not. Sonny uses the word stupid. Will insists he is not all that bad. Sonny calls him a creep. Why is he even doing this? Will only shares that EJ seems to think he owes him for breaking up what he had with Nicole. Sonny wonders what would happen if he said NO to his job offer. Will sighs he does not really want to know! Sonny thinks if EJ is threatening him, he should go to the cops. Will cannot. Sonny now asks what he has on him. Will confesses there is something, but he will get something bigger. Like what? Will quietly tells him of the paper that fell out of his pocket, how he panicked when he saw it. He is going to find out what it is and he is sure it is BIG. “I’m gonna get him,” he grins. “I’m gonna put him away.” Sonny muses he might fancy himself a secret agent, but if he goes looking for justice against EJ DiMera, he will be lucky to escape with his life! - Hope gets back to Bo at the table and asks how the writing is going. He starts to read her what he intends to say at Lexie’s service, how she fell in love with his friend Abe Carver, only to discover her father - one of the worst people. Yet she found a way to make it work, becoming a loving wife and affectionate, albeit disapproving daughter. Theo was the light of her life. Bo’s voice starts to crack as he reads aloud that Lexie was taken too soon. But she and Abe had the kind of love that never dies. The big guy pauses to cry, then continues. They found each other and had what they did for as long as they did. He emotionally wipes the tears from his eyes. - Arthur the lawyer promises solemn EJ he will only use the old will, as instructed, and agrees to destroy the information about his paternity. EJ reminds him of lawyer-client confidentiality. He coldly explains he is the mayor and the head of DiMera Enterprises. With that kind of power, he could make or break a man. Arthur muses he may not be Stefano’s son but he is exactly like him! He was Stefano’s attorney for many many years and never betrayed his trust. Nevertheless, now he is loyal to EJ, who is pleased that he intends to take certain secrets to the grave. “Like my fatha did!” he blurts out. - Dan suddenly stops kissing Nicole. “This is crazy,” he breathes. She coos she likes it crazy and helps him pull off his shirt. Dan hastily shoves everything off his desk and lifts her onto it, kissing her as they give into their passion. - Ciara happily shows Bo and Hope the card she made with Lexie and angels. They look over people, just like Zack. Bo and Hope agree it will make Theo very happy. The little girl goes to put her crayons away. Bo touches Hope’s hand and notes he would be 12. Hope remembers him every day. They prepare to face the old house without Lexie in it. She will always be with them, like all the other lost loved ones. Even if they cannot see them … - Lucas and Sami walk through the town square arm in arm. He thinks it is a nice day and this is better than her confronting EJ at the mansion. Sami glumly quips she will not stop trying to figure out what he is up to. Lucas points out they will do it together. - Will confirms to Sonny that EJ does indeed have something big on him, which is the reason he went back to work for him. Just then Sami happens by with Lucas. She knew it! She demands to know what EJ has done now. Sonny stares. Will woefully shakes his head. Sami waits for an answer … END |
