WISH YOU WERE HERE - Part 2 - Back at the Carver residence, Marlena informs Abe she spoke with Chad, who will be there soon. John asks what else they can do. Abe advises them to go be with Will. John notes the hunt is still on for the killer. Abe assures them he will be fine, as he would like to spend some time with his son. The friends embrace. John reminds him they are always a phone call away. They bid Theo goodbye and depart. Celeste now explains to Abe that she and Cam are leaving too. He thanks them and they embrace, after which he walks them to the door. Once alone, the single father sighs. Theo asks daddy what they are supposed to do now ... - Lucas glances out the window and wishes Sami would have let him know what was going down so he could have been at the station for their son. Sami is sure their son will be fine. They decide to go tell him how proud they are and exit together, as she keeps munching her apple. - John and Marlena are about to enter the pub when Marlena gets a call from a patient. She urges John to go ahead. He does. Will has just finished informing cheerful Sonny that his mom was there for him today. His old man has supported him from the start … Enter John, with his encouragement. “You’re gay, you’re out, and I’m proud!” He hugs him and praises him for his courage, for being his own man. Will thanks him and credits Sonny and also Marlena for helping him come out. Marlena glides in and Will hugs her. “I wouldn’t be me without you.” She is so happy for him. They all are. Will is grateful and repeats Sonny helped too. He listened to him, encouraged him, and always spoke the truth. He made him see he could be who he is. Sonny and Will are standing side by side happily when Sami and Lucas arrive. Sami assures their son they could not be more proud. Will looks ready to cry. Lucas can see the burden is gone and for that reason they are happy. They love their son more than he will ever know. Sami hugs him. John kisses Marlena. They are emotional. - Abigail hates to leave sad Chad, but she has an exam. She asks him to call her if there is anything he needs and departs. Gabi steps up and wonders if there is anything he needs. There is. She takes a step close and whispers ‘What is it Chad?” He wants Melanie back! Gabi points out he just lost his father and sister. He needs someone to be with now. Chad sighs he needs Mel more than ever but alas she is gone. Gabi suggests he lean of her and let her help him … - Abigail spies Cam walking by with Celeste and stops him to say she is sorry. Celeste reminds him Abraham is waiting. He wants a moment alone. When she steps away, Cam apologizes for her. Abigail assumes she is upset over Lexie. Cam feels cheated and upset. She is sorry. He thanks her and hopes he will be the kind of uncle Lexie wanted him to be. Abigail impulsively hugs him as Celeste gives her the evil eye. - Mel tries to talk her crazed captor into releasing her. He refuses. She wonders why. He leers no one will come looking for her as they believe she is in Europe thanks to an email he sent her boyfriend in her name. Mel uncertainly states her father and grandmother will think something is wrong if she does not check in with them. Her captor cackles she will indeed be checking in with them about how great Europe is! He is still holding her phone. Mel’s eyes are filled with dread. She is soon alone, screaming to let her out. Andy coldly climbs the stairs, removing his mask. Mel sits on the bed all alone, clutching the pillow like a frightened child. - Theo calls out to crying Abe, who wipes away his tears. He sits beside his father on their sofa and laments he misses mommy. So does Abe. He opens the photo album she made for them to remember all those wonderful times they shared. He hugs his son and grins he sees mommy in his eyes and smile. He loves him. Together they look at the photos, which come to life as footage of Lexie and Abe’s past moments. The singer heard in the background sings about wishing to do it all again. “I would never let it end, if I could make one last wish ..." END |
