Hocus Pocus Part 2 Abe explains the mayor’s office really just wants a temporary leave for the current commissioner, given his personal ties to the case. Hope must escort Sami away to go over the facts. Sami hugs Roman and is sorry. He promise to visit, then asks Abe who the mayor is assigning to take over the job. Abe explains that would be HIM! Roman grins he is the only one he would agree to. He knows it will be good for Sami. Abe points out he must go by the book. Roman notes if they do not find the knife, it will spell big trouble for Sami! Meanwhile, Hope and Sami rejoin Marlena, who tells a disappointed Sami that EJ had to leave. Hope is all business. She warns Sami that they must get a clear picture and get the story straight so she does not appear culpable. Sami blinks. Hope continues. She recalls Sami mentioned a knife and then a flashing blade. Which one was it? Sami is confused and stressed. Her memory is not that exact. Marlena gets an idea. She starts to hypnotize her and takes her mind to a door. Sami’s eyes are closed. Marlena informs her the door opens to the hospital room before she fired the gun and every movement moves slowly. She will be safe, just watching as a bystander. She instructs hypno-Sami to slooooooowly open the door of memories. Sami sees herself in the bathroom getting a washcloth. The flashback is shown in sloooooow motion. She was looking for aspirin in her purse and pulled out the gun. There was a noise. Someone in the room. The she saw the man over Rafe raising his arm. Marlena advises her to go frame by frame. The arm and hand ... what was the weapon? Sami gasps. "Oh my God. It was not a knife!" Marlena orders her to zoom in. Sami is horrified to remember it was a razor. Roman and Hope are horrified too. Brady apologizes to brother Eric for being such an ass in the recent past. Eric is sorry he was an ass too. Nicole withdraws just as Eric turns around, happily suggesting he and his brother take in a Cubs game sometime. He now notices the black purse and notes it belongs to Nicole. She stands in the hall and starts to sweat. Brady stammers she came by to check on him and must have forgotten it. He asks his brother to return it to her. Eric perceives his anxious demeanor and questions him on it. Ding dong! Nicole pretends to be arriving and asks for her purse. Eric hands it over and explains he is on his way to the capital. However, he would like to go over some things at the rectory with her first. Nicole smiles back at Brady and flounces off with Father Hunky. Brady sits down on the couch with a sigh of relief and accidentally finds her gold bracelet. He remembers their wild night, places the bracelet in his pocket, and makes for the door. Enter Dan, who wonders about that big grin he is wearing. EJ pours himself orange juice and accuses Kristen of gloating over Samantha’s misfortune. She confessed she is thrilled to hear of Marlena’s family problems and who can blame her? EJ loses his cool and angrily advises her to make someone else her next target. Kristen will only say that Marlena already seems to be suffering. EJ now gets a call, makes her promise to be in touch should she hear form fatha, and exits. Kristen muses the suffering of her nemesis Marlena is only beginning. Chad tries unsuccessfully to lose Abigail at the park, then agrees she should stay. She teases him for not trusting her. Chad teases back, then admits he trusts her more than anyone, including his family! The big brother shows up and he is not amused to see the girl. Chad assures EJ he can trust Abigail. EJ grows impatient. Chad shows him the footage on his phone of Sami battling with Bernardi in the park long before the day he was killed. EJ stops and stares. He finds his voice and calmly wonders who filmed it. Chad admits he did. Who else has viewed it? Abigail, who watched it over his shoulder. She thinks EJ is being rude toward Chad and says so. Chad thinks EJ did not appear to be surprised. He deduces he already knows that Sami knew Bernardi! EJ insists Sami had no idea who she shot as the hospital room was dark. Chad chuckles about Sami’s grudges. He adds this makes it look premeditated that she wanted the guy dead. EJ is relieved to hear there is no audio. Abigail realizes he intends to bury it. Chad realizes he intends to keep his phone. EJ exclaims this cannot get out and urges them both to keep their mouths shut! Abigail pouts. At the rectory, busy Eric has a few administrative details for Nicole, then adds he is sorry about their spat. She admits it was partly her fault too. She should not have spoken her truth about Sami. He is very glad she is back and asks her to check in with Brady from time to time. He could not help but notice how she raised his spirits and suggests she keep on doing it! Dan wonders what really happened to Brady and Kristen’s wedding. Brady shares that Victor was spot on about the dragon lady. He calls her a user and a liar he will not allow to hurt himself or his family again! After he has told Dan the whole sordid story, Dan is shocked to hear him add she even paid him a visit at the house. Brady sighs he has no idea what goes on in her head. Kristen gets a text from Stefano, clarifying that she is officially forbidden to harm Marlena in any way. She cackles and calls it funny. She then walks to the drawer beneath Stefano’s portrait and takes out her new treasures. The blue vial in hand, she taunts Father that she will not hurt his precious Marlena physically! She could not bring herself to destroy John’s son in the end. However, she will certainly have no problem destroying Marlena’s son! She now looks down at the newspaper and focuses on a photograph of Father Eric Brady, who is just preparing to leave for the capital. Kristen touches the clear vial from Eric’s picture to her lips like a wanton witch ready to cast a spell ...! END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Kristen gets disguised ... |
