He now has less surgery scheduled today and offers to make her coffee after changing out of his scrubs. Jen is happy and appreciates it. He is determined to prove they can weather any storm together! She is finished at the computer when he returns with his fresh shirt open. Jen gushes she was not distracted until now. They grin goofily at each other. She explains the wifi did not work here so he suggests she take her flash drive into his room, try from there. She sweetly stands up , literally bumps into him, and they share a tender kiss. She whispers thank you and glides into the other room. Knock knock! Dan opens the door to JJ. He pretends to be sorry about Parker. Jen peeks out from the other room and overhears his apology. Dan appreciates the gesture. JJ now excuses himself and goes. Dan shuts the door. Jen emerges with a smile, elated. Dan concedes it was as honest apology as he obviously has no problem with Parker. Jen realizes he still thinks JJ has a problem with him, however, and vandalized his car. Nothing has changed! Dan reasons they did not even talk so how could things have dramatically changed since last night? Jen laments they are at the same place as before. He starts to explain not exactly and asks her to wait until he answers his ringing phone. Then they can talk. No luck. Jen storms out. Roman agrees with Marlena that Eric should go to the capital to fight for the new school. Just then Nicole flounces in and asks if it is true what they are saying about Sami. Marlena and Roman depart together. Eric sighs. Nicole perceives the priest is fatigued. She suspects he is busy taking care of others already, though he should be thinking of himself. Eric gasps he feels terrible about his sister being locked up afraid and alone. They hug. John catches up with Brady at the town square and suggests they go see Sami together. Brady grumbles he already tried and they did not let him in. He turns down his father’s friendly suggestion that they have coffee and storms off. John stares. The DiMera doorbell rings and Kristen sarcastically opens said door to Marlena, who is there to see the children. Kristen gets catty. Marlena holds her blonde head high and points out Kristen lost. The she devil cackles she hopes Sami had a good night and how is John? She would rather talk about him. The polite smile fades from Marlena’s face. She regains her composure and claims not to care. Kristen gushes she herself does not care about John anymore. Marlena hopes then she will stop obsessing over Brady and fretting over her cos they had their war and she already won! Exit doc. Kristen hisses they are not done, they are just getting started and this time she is playing for keeps! Back at the house of Kiriakis, Brady leaves a message for Commissioner Roman to try and help him get in to see Sami, who needs him. Devil with the blue dress Kristen suddenly appears beside him on the couch and purrs he can do anything he sets his mind to. Brady jumps up and the hallucination vanishes as quickly as it came. His eyes widen with horror. He needs to forget! Nicole and Eric are getting along, until she disagrees with him canceling his trip. She blurts out this is Sami’s mess and she has no one to blame but herself that she shot someone so she should rot in jail. Eric exclaims that is cold and insensitive. Sometimes he does not even know who Nicole is! Nicole hangs her head in shame and leaves. Back at Horton house, Cam suggests Abigail not believe everything Chad tells her. The girl in pink is baffled. Chad respects how she feels about Cam sooooo ... Cam laughs he is not worried about the guy. She notes his confidence. He suddenly kisses her and she kisses him back. He wishes he did not have to go to work. She teases those are just excuses. Cam drawls he will be free later, in case Chad cancels, and muses he does not want anyone moving in on his turf. She is amused by his choice of words. The young doctor in love sighs he must depart, as he promised the pharmaceutical people he would check out the latest samples. JJ returns, having overheard, and excuses himself to go upstairs, as he forgot something. Cam and Abigail continue kissing on the front porch. Meanwhile JJ smugly leaves a message for Rory that he now knows where they can get major money! Brady is bothered by his Kristen hallucination and downs his drink. Nicole arrives and they both admit thus far, it has been a terrible day. She suggests they go somewhere. They have to do something to get his mind of all the negative stuff. They soap stare. She gasps what the hell and they kiss passionately. Meanwhile, Eric calls Nicole and emotionally states they need to talk. However, he has reached her voice mail. In reality, she is presently kissing Brady, who gasps this is not a good idea, then continues. Nicole moans as they grab at each other, their kisses deeper and deeper. Marlena runs into John outside the pub and would rather not talk. He gets closer. She is bringing the children to be with Caroline. He is here to offer his support. She advises him the best way he can help is by walking away! John appears hurt. A mysterious man with a shaved head and dark beard arrives on the DiMera doorstep, having been summoned by Stefano. He pulls out a black box. Kristen smiles her crooked smile. She is excited to see him for he is her last hope! Eerie music plays as the story grows darker ...
