| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Wednesday, June 13, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! FAR FROM OVER - Part 2 - Chad stands with Mel and admits he knows the things his father did, how others felt about him. He tried to manipulate him too, but he liked him. Mel whispers it is not too late to tell him. Chad steps forward and leans over the open casket, clasping his hands. He is sorry he wasted the brief time they had. He wasted much trying to push him away. He adds he liked living at the mansion, which was never dull. He praises him for being a father who made him believe he mattered. Chad breaks down. “I love you, dad!” Mel consoles him. - Sami has left the condo. Will sits by Marlena, noting she managed to keep the peace. Marlena explains Sami is worried that everything they did and said will be scrutinized. Marlena remarks she herself was on edge that night. Will states so was he. Marlena wonders about what. He will not say, though he swears he did not shoot Stefano. Marlena stares. “I know that …!” - Kate is still at the mansion and thanks EJ for bailing Will out. He is no murderer. EJ drawls while that is true, the boy is certainly not a saint. Kate cannot believe Roman actually arrested his own grandson. Chad walks up with Mel and wants to know what she is talking about! - Lexie woefully sits at Stefano’s side. She now understands how much he loved her, why he waged war on the world to give his descendants all that he could. She sniffles and then moves closer, leaning over the casket. She knows he suffered from guilt over what happened to her. She forgives him and prays he has finally found peace. She now kisses him and walks toward Abe, who embraces his weakening wife. - Johnny and Sydney are with EJ on the staircase. Johnny misses his grandfather and innocently remarks they are still DiMeras. As Sami watches, EJ uncomfortably agrees. - Chad storms to the town square, raging that Will murdered his father. Mel follows and calmly attempts to reason with him. Gabi joins them, and takes the opportunity to show her support for Chad. Chad wonders whose side Mel is on when she does not agree with his deduction that Will killed Stefano. Gabi tries to get involved but Mel wants her to stay out of it. She now asks about the stalker. Maybe the police will be able to stop him. Gabi agrees now that the police are involved, he might give up … - Little Theo senses something. With Abe by her side, Lexie realizes the time has come to admit she will be going away, like Stefano. Theo sadly asks if she has to. Abe explains she wishes she could stay, but there is nothing she can do about it. Lexie enthusiastically lists all the family members who will be around him. And she will always be nearby, watching over him. Theo wonders if his grandfather left to get things ready for her. She plays along and they hug. He loves her. She wants him never to forget how much she loves him and sobs as she holds her little boy, glancing up at the seemingly unfair heavens. - Alone at Stefano’s casket, Sami makes a snide remark about making sure he is dead. EJ approaches and thanks her for bringing the kids to say goodbye, to pay their last respects. Sami appreciates that EJ bailed Will out and is sorry for his pain and loss. They sit and talk. He sighs it has been a long day. He wonders if now that he is dead, they will all be able to breathe a collective sigh of relief. Sami, however, fears that even death will not stop the phoenix from wreaking havoc! - Andy stares at a picture of Gabi. The stalker looks around the secret little prison he has created, and assures himself she will approve of his new plan! - Chad finds Will sitting on a bench and wants answers. Will thinks they should go somewhere to talk but Chad will simply not wait. “Did you kill my father?!” he thunders. - Sami is with Marlena at the condo and complains she is worried. The kids were clinging to EJ and he is a suspect. Marlena points out they all are. Sami believes none of them would be capable of it. EJ, on the other hand, seems different. Something has changed. Marlena reminds her his father was killed but Sami suspects he has lost much more. - EJ drinks alone in the shadows by Stefano’s casket. He is not sure how to find the words to describe how he felt when he turned on him because he was not his blood. He loved him and tried to be just like him. He takes another drink and bitterly laughs to just look at him, here alone. The women he has loved fear him, his children always end up going home to another house to be protected from him, his sister is dying, and this is all because of him. “I am alone because of you, because of my fatha, and the irony is, I’m not even your son!” he rages. He ought to tell him to burn in hell and yet he cannot. Tormented EJ stands at the casket. He loves him and he knows he loved him too. He worked so hard to make him proud. He cries he then destroyed everything. “YOU did that, not me!" He sarcastically says cheers and walks out. Stefano remains in the open casket, not moving. The room is now empty ... END |
