High Rollers Part 2 - EJ airily states the email was about a problem with a distributor, nothing serious, and assures Samantha it is nothing. They walk outside and run into Will. Sami is grateful for him getting Sonny to get his father to represent her. Will notes that was all Sonny’s doing. Sami hopes Will is going to invite them over to visit the baby. Will replies sure and they walk off together. - Jen informs her son that no one could ever turn her against him. He laments his sister is the golden child and she is hard on him. Jen gasps she has never favored his sister and he is still in trouble! JJ complains he already did what she asked. But when he came to talk to her earlier he caught her on the porch making out with Jonas. He now saunters upstairs to do his homework. Jen grabs her purse and departs. JJ comes back downstairs with his backpack and takes the keys. He has plans of his own! He ends up at the park with his stoner pals, Rory and Bev. - Father Eric enlightens Dan on all the saints whose situations could not be explained by modern medicine. He implies this was an act of God. In the end, Nicole was inspired to save the day and the school as well. So it was written. Dan insists he call him if he suffers any symptoms. He agrees and departs. Dan shakes his head in dismay. Eric returns to the rectory. He is with bible when Roman arrives. Roman appreciated his prayers for Sami. Eric agrees to get to that family thing they discussed but Roman accidentally knocks over the coke on his desk. He is sorry. Eric nervously tries to clean up the mess. - At the town square, shopping Kristen and busy Brady literally bump into each other! She calls it kismet and keeps going her wicked way. Brady stops her and stares. He demands to know why she visited Eric in the hospital. She claims she wanted to check in on the brother of her former fiance. He suspiciously adds he is also the son of the woman she hates. Kristen insists she was at the hospital to drop off board papers and happened to see him. She could not keep walking. Brady is sorry he asked and turns away. She wants to know why he called. It was not to say he was sorry. Brady glares at her with cold eyes and leers he is not sorry. She leers he will be soon enough and meets his gaze. - At apartment 14, Justin is a tad disappointed the baby is fast asleep. Brent texts Sonny, who complains he is persistent. He already told him he did not wish to go to the July 4 party with him. He likes his friend but not the way he is reacting to his new life. Justin wonders what he means. Sonny elaborates. Worldly Brent is free and adventurous and now seems to consider him a fuddy-duddy with responsibility. Justin declares raising a child is the greatest adventure in the world. He suspects Sonny feels the same way. Sonny grins and agrees. When the baby in pink wakes up, Justin gets to hold her. EJ and Sami happily arrive, followed by Will. Sonny wonders about Will, who explains he had a few errands. He is sorry he took so long. Sonny gushes about the music the baby does and does not like. Exit Justin. Sami holds and admires the baby in her arms. EJ smoothly excuses himself to take care of an email and joins Justin in the hall. He reminds him he said that Stefano the great and powerful would be out by sunrise in Hong Kong! Justin admits Shin is wafting and tough to read. He is concerned. EJ gets an ominous feeling that fatha got to him and they are being set up. Inside, Sami thanks Sonny for not telling his dad about the video. Mr. Mom takes the crying baby to change her, try out the new bedtime playlists, and put her to bed. Will sighs to his mother that he hopes he is not asking too much. Sami notes Sonny really wants to be here and is clearly happy to help. - Dan is outside his apartment when Jen arrives. He invites her in to talk. She hesitates. She wants to make things right! Dan gives her a look of longing and bids her to enter. She does, yet refuses his offer of a drink. He appears hopeful and apologizes for Maggie. Jen notes the whole town already knows about JJ’s problems. She now exclaims she believed she had the situation under control with her son but he was right, she did not. She must pay attention to the truth - about Dan! The medicine man is baffled. Meanwhile, JJ realizes he and the pals have little money. He advises Rory go home and get the rest of his stash so they can sell it. Rory suggests he get his own stash. No can do, for he must be careful. Rory departs with Bev to get his stash. JJ now cannot believe his eyes when a beautiful brunette appears and flirts is it really that good! - Roman helps Eric dry the desk and wet file. Eric will call him when he finds out his schedule concerning that board meeting. Roman cannot help but notice the jumpy priest has not really recovered. Eric admits Dr. Jonas made him come in again but he refused further tests cos he is just fine. Roman considers. - EJ drawls that if fatha is aware of their takeover plot, there is a clear and imminent danger. Justin advises him to sleep with the lights on, eyes wide open. They both should. - Back at Dan’s apartment, Jen explains her son lost his father and now has lost his way. He must come first. Therefore it would be best if they took a relationship break. Dan bitterly notes JJ will now see the power he has over her. He warns breaking up with him will not fix her troubled teenage son! - The flirty girl at the park purrs JJ’s stuff sounded too good to sell. She gets close and JJ decides she is right, plus it is way too fun to use alone. - Brady accuses Kristen of uttering threats and starts to walk away. Kristen ominously calls after him that he will soon be sorry and so will everyone around him! - Meanwhile Eric is taking a shower when he experiences a fuzzy but furious flashback of the hotel room bed. He staggers back gasping, and starts to lose his balance ... END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Gabi and Abigail catch up. Jen is enraged by JJ's naughty attempt at a love life ... |
