Sonny wonders if he won the lottery. Will laughs not yet but he intends to! - Dan stammers to Nicole that she is not technically his patient anymore. She praises him for letting her change the DNA samples. She cannot believe he did that for her. Neither can he. She hopes he does not have a bad opinion of her. The doc admits they may have crossed the line by sleeping together as it made things complicated. Nicole teases then he must really like complicated. She enjoys spending time with him. He seconds the motion. They both agree the sex is amazing. Nevertheless, Nicole would rather they proceed with caution. Therefore, they should not put a name on this. Dan agrees whatever it is, they do not need to jinx it with a name. She thanks him for last night and the brunch. He drawls it was his pleasure and helps her to her feet. She smiles she will see him around. He promises she can count on it and proceeds to pay the bill. Nicole watches him and touches her baby bump. - Rafe returns to his office. He informs Sami that EJ has left. Now she should leave too. Sami, however, has something to say. He is unable to stop her from sharing her theory about EJ as the prime suspect. They originally feared he had forced Will to kill Stefano. Rafe suspiciously asks how EJ could force him to do such a thing. He shuts the door. Sami stammers Will was on his payroll. Rafe recounts then EJ posted his bail, which was odd. So is the fact that he returned to work for him. Rafe suddenly murmurs he still cares about the family and the kids and suggests he talk to Will. Sami still wants to know whether he considers EJ a suspect. Rafe cannot comment. Sami scratches her head. It is hard to imagine that EJ would have murdered his own father. Rafe reminds her that his job is to do police work and her job is to stay out of the personal business of others. She finally leaves. - EJ returns to the mansion and leaves an enraged message for Will, who has not picked up the bloody package. Will ignores EJ's call and assures Sonny he is having more fun dining with him at the pub. Sonny is worried there could be repercussions if Will goes against his dangerous boss. Will gets a twinkle in his eye and boasts very soon things will be different. How? Will asks his pal to trust him and grins. - Austin and Carrie walk through the park together, admiring their tiny baby’s first picture. They cannot wait to hold their baby. Carrie’s eyes are shining. She is sorry about what they discussed earlier. He gushes he loves her and knows she loves him. Carrie happily kisses him. Austin walks off after promising to call her later. Rafe comes around the corner and says hi. Carrie’s face falls. - Back at the DiMera mansion, EJ stands staring ominously at the chess set. Will return and grins he is back. EJ growls he was late. Will airily states he stopped for a bite to eat. EJ wants to know where the package is. Will grins he forgot. “My bad!” He becomes increasingly sarcastic when EJ wonders what on earth is the matter. He smugly sits down. EJ dangerously warns him this kind of slip could cost him time in prison. Will grins he is gonna go to the top. EJ coldly states he must be dunk or high - unacceptable when in his employ. He sits at his computer. Will announces that things need to change and he believes they will. “From now on, I will be calling the shots!” EJ stands up and muses young William is suffering from delusions of grandeur. He turns away. Will claims knowledge is power. EJ suggests he spit it out. Will does just that. “I know the truth. I found what you’ve been hiding. I know that Stefano is not your father. You are NOT a DiMera!” EJ freezes as he considers his next move … END |
