In case she returns, she has a file from work to use as an excuse. She gets close and flirts she likes his eyes. She also liked his present and was hoping for some more. JJ invites the tease up to his room. She quips his mom would smell the smoke. He suggests the garden. It is too hot but they will be able to party sometime soon. JJ believes her. She still wants the stuff. JJ wants cash payment, since they will not be using it together. The transaction is made. She gushes she could use other stuff too and loooooooves skiing. JJ will try for next time. She quips they will party then and wiggles to the door. He advises her to take the file back to the office. She does not want to go in early tomorrow. He gets close and whispers something to her. She giggles, agrees, and departs. JJ grins, as he believes he has impressed the older girl. - Marlena and Will discuss Sonny’s past life that was full of excitement and adventure. Marlena notes he seems to love his new life. Will admits he suggested he go out and do some fun stuff anyway, like see a movie. Marlena cautions Will that his self-sacrifice could push his guy away! He thinks he is just encouraging him to go out more so he does not feel trapped. Marlena reminds him the baby is part of the deal, part of him, and Sonny is good with that. However, pushing him away would only succeed in making him feel excluded. Will insists he loves and does not wish to exclude him. Marlena warns him his plan could backfire. Will suddenly gets it and laughs he is behaving just like his mother. Oh no! Marlena bursts out laughing and promises to set him straight. - Sonny concedes to Adrienne that Sami has done things, like shooting a cop, which shocked him, but she was protecting Rafe. Adrienne starts to explain where she is coming from. Sonny is no longer interested. He snaps he is done and she should not bother him again unless she is fair! He leaves in a huff. Adrienne exits the pub alone, looks at the video, and concludes perhaps Sonny is right. Perhaps she should give Sami the benefit of the doubt. Things are not always what they seem. - Brady bitterly reminds Kristen she used and made a fool of him! She whispers she could not go through with her plan. He already knows this story. Is she done? Not done loving him, no. Brady sighs she only came clean to him after she was caught. She calls it the truth. He thinks he will never know for sure. She suggests he ask his father. He was there, he knows the truth! She left John at the hotel when she realized she loved only Brady! She is flabbergasted John never told him. “I chose you that night! I loved you! You just threw me away, Brady!” And her choice of him over John occurred before she knew Marlena had evidence against her! She walks away in tears. Brady wonders. - Adrienne arrives at DiMera mansion. The British butler opens the door. Here comes Sami, lady of the manor, who informs her that Justin is not present. Adrienne explains she is here to see her! - Theresa goes to the park all alone. She sighs she will need more than weed to get her through this summer! Salem sucks! She lights her joint. Meanwhile Jen returns to Horton house. The file was left in front of the door, with a note from Theresa. Jen is pleased the minx did not go inside her house and walks in. She wonders whether JJ knows who dropped off the envelope. Negative. Jen is smug as a bug about Theresa following her rules. JJ is amused. - Adrienne and Sami primly sit down. Sami wonders why she is here. To give her a chance to explain herself! - Kristen slides onto a bench outside the pub with a sigh and laments there is nothing left for her and Brady. Meanwhile Brady broods at the house of Kiriakis and pours himself a drink. He raises it to his parched lips, recalls her words of love, promise of their future, and her suggestion he check her story with his father. Brady puts the glass down, stretches, and paces. He growls she is not worth it, then throws an unlit candle across the room. The love addict now places a hasty call. “Dad, it’s me. I need to see you NOW!” - Kristen takes a deep breath and tells herself to focus. Beloved Brady is gone so she must keep her eye on the prize, The time has come to light the fire and watch her enemy BURN!! The wicked cat eyes are back, the wicked plan on track … END Ahead on Days of Our Lives John enlightens Brady. Sami screws up. |
