MOVING ON - Part 2 - Mel announces to Chad they cannot be together, because then she will not have changed from the not so nice girl she once was! - Abigail sits with Austin at the pub and complains that even though she and Chad decided to break up, she suspects he and Mel were after each other for months, waiting. Austin is sorry and takes her hands in his. She is a special person and the right guy is out there. He promises. She smiles. He wonders what made her end things with Chad. She says she was having ... Having what? Austin suspects she has feelings for someone besides Chad. Abigail gets wide-eyed and shares that she does have feelings for someone. There is no one like him. Austin advises her to follow her heart, in that case. Abigail naively smiles she knows exactly what to do. Austin has no idea the object of her affection is none other than him ...! - Back in therapy, Bo admits to Marlena that he is more private than Hope. Hope laments the grief about Zack is always there and the fact that he does not wish to discuss it makes her feel alone. Bo is sorry. Hope bitterly brings up how he did not want her to pay the ransom for Ciara. For a long time after she came home, their daughter was terrified. And so she took her to the mountains for a change of scene. When she returned, she thought they needed a break, but then two weeks later Maggie alerted her there was a woman in her house. That was when she found Carly in her bed! Bo starts to explain and Hope quips she realizes he was protecting her, but why her bed! Bo reminds her she was the one who decided to move out of their house. She woefully adds he replaced her very fast. - Carrie and Rafe are informed by eccentric Tilly that Charlie is her CAT! They must admire photos of Charlie the cat and are given a list of his haunts. Silly Tilly gives them $5 as her retainer. But she will not be billed for sweet talk! She orders them to find Charlie and departs. Rafe drawls he went from chasing Stefano DiMera to looking for a cat. Carrie teases she has faith in his abilities. - Chad explains to Mel he is not happy how they almost started. Neither is Mel. She suggests they start over. Chad considers. - Back at the mansion, Sonny asks Will if it is time for classes yet. Will is not so sure about returning to school. Sonny now states he originally gave him bad advice. He should leave Salem! Will points out he just said that would mean running away from his problems. Sonny elaborates. He does not think Will is comfortable in his own skin and is too down to go to school so he should take some time to find himself. Will would rather not discuss this with him. Sonny understands. He looks him in the eye and suggests he find out who he really is. Will purses his lips in thought. - Rafe and Carrie are at the pier, arguing about who should go under the dock. Rafe ends up going and we hear a hiss, a scratch, and a yowl (the cat, not Rafe!) They head back to the office and Rafe nurses his red wounds. They could not even get the cat! Moments later, Tilly calls and thanks them for leaving the cat on her porch. Carrie pleasantly plays along. - Mel and Chad pretend they have just met. He understands where she is coming from and they shake on it. - Meanwhile, the intense therapy session continues. Bo informs Hope he never meant for things to go as far with Carly as they did. He is sorry. Hope murmurs she is sorry too. She was devastated and hurt and angry about how easily he could replace her. Marlena now hears how Hope turned to pills to help her sleep, but they made her almost kill Bo! He assures her she did not. She cries she loves him. He loves her too and holds her tight. Marlena reminds them one cannot change the past but the future is whatever one chooses. Bo promises to work out their problems together. Hope promises the same. Marlena praises them for the progress they have made in this first session. With their lines of communication open, they can have the marriage they desire. Bo and Hope both agree to do that, embrace, and emotionally reaffirm their love for one another. END Next on Days of Our Lives Jack tells a solemn Jen that he should know if there is any future there. Maggie smiles at surprised Dan, informing him she knew he was getting his test results and did not want him to be alone today. Brady urges John to stop trying to come up with reasons to derail his idea! |
