| DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Tuesday, January 31, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! RISK - Part 2 - Madison assures Brady what he sees is what he gets. He hopes there will not be something that unexpectedly appears and messes things up. Madison insists there will not be. They cuddle, but Brady's eyes are clouded with concern. - At the café, Abigail and Austin decide to get coffee. Rafe and Carrie happen along. Carrie bitterly quips she had no idea they had a breakfast date. Abigail explains they just ran into each other this morning. Rafe takes Abigail aside and she updates him on finding Austin at the office on the sofa. She now goes to class. Rafe suddenly bumps into Sami. He perceives her demeanor and would like to know what is the matter. She laments she ran into John, who wanted to teach her some life lessons. She grumbles she has to get to work. Rafe tenderly suggests they talk first. She complains John said she screwed up, but she has a meeting and they need the paycheck. She acts upbeat about his and Carrie's business taking off and teases then she will be happy to sit at home. They decide they are good again, exchange I love yous and a kiss. Sami gets back to work with a slight smile on her face. Rafe, however, has a certain hurt in his eyes. - Meanwhile, Carrie is troubled that Austin walked out and now she finds him having a cheery breakfast with his perky little assistant! Austin insists he loves her. He married her. She reminds him he did not come home last night. He swears he went to the office, slept on the sofa, and tried to forget yesterday. Surely pretty Princess Miranda knows what he means! Carrie sits down and is admittedly unhappy about the tension. He hopes they can figure this out. Carrie remembers how they used to cheer each other on. Austin would rather she not talk in the past like that. He always wants what is best for her. Still. She feels the same way. He declares he was a selfish jerk last night and she has been spending a great deal of time with Rafe. She is sorry she has not been considerate of his feelings. He thanks her. They are interrupted when his phone rings. He has a last minute departmental meeting at noon, a class at 11. She thinks he should go. He hopes they are good. She agrees they are better. Is he coming home tonight? Of course. He loves her and they will get through this. He kisses her and departs. Carrie blinks. - Brady and Madison find John working on his computer at the pub. They talk Basic Black, until John must step away to take a call. Mad notes John is proud of his son. Unfortunately, she must go. She leaves with a smile and John saunters back. "So what is Madison up to with Samantha?" - Brady sits with his coffee and drawls Sami left the company as things were not great. She did not approve of his relationship with Madison. John fears her working with the likes of Kate DiMera might make Sami revert back to her old tricks. That would cause her to lose everything she holds dear! Brady's eyes darken. - Sami the spy secretly meets Madison on a bench and whispers Kate is focused on Madison. It is time to bring her down. Madison hesitates. Brady hates the idea and believes she is using his sister. She now knows her complicated history with the DiMera crime clan. They are both concerned what Kate might do to retaliate against her. Sami appears annoyed. Madison explains she does not want to hurt her or lose Brady and if they proceed, both could happen. Sami stares at her in disbelief. - Back at the office, Carrie confides to Rafe that she and Austin started to talk, but then he got called away. Rafe quips he started talking to Sami, but then she too had somewhere to go. Carrie is sorry. Rafe now has an incident with the coffee maker and shoves it in the garbage. Carrie laughs the day was not a total waste. He grins and agrees. She thinks it is good they can always make each other laugh! - Austin is glad to see Abigail back at his office and apologizes for the scene between himself and Carrie. Carrie knows she had nothing to do with anything. Abigail offers to talk to her. Austin would rather she not worry about it and heads to class. Abigail gets a strange look in her eye. - Sami the spy accuses Madison of letting her boyfriend run the show. Madison argues Kate poisons people who get in her way. The risks are too high. Besides, she knows Brady is bothered and she cares about him. Sami loses her cool. There is no choice. They are in too deep and she has risked it all. Madison simply cannot leave her hanging now ...!
