DOUBLE DECEPTION - Part 2 - Sami gloats they are hitting Kate where it hurts the most, thanks to her inflated ego. And their staged fights were the perfect setup. Madison thinks it was easy. Sami points out Kate is only interested in marketing to the youth, but Mad World will go with the over 30 crowd as well as the youth. Sami hopes they are focused, for Kate might have spies and bugs. Madison suspects she will relax and lose! Sami admits she did have reservations about the plan, as she never imagined Kate would wish to hire her. Madison thanks her for her incredible service. They toast to it. Madison promises to take care of her. Sami laughs Kate is about to hire inexperienced models. She feels a bit badly that one of them is Gabi, cos those kids are doomed to fail. Madison thinks the girl will be fine and move on. They toast to each other and cackle about leaving Kate in the dust. Sami now wants to know what she can do to further ruin things at Countess W. Madison gives her carte blanche. Sami happily pours more champagne and gloats she just loves her job. Turns out she is getting two paychecks, one from Countess W and one from Mad World. Sami smirks she would do this to Kate for free! She soon puts her jacket on. Madison hopes that she parked out back. Of course. And she took all precautionary measures to keep their meeting a secret. Boss Madison appreciates her corporate espionage. She wishes they could have told Brady. Sami understands why they did not tell Rafe either. Madison suddenly decides they can share the truth with both men, as they are trustworthy and without any loyalty to Kate the enemy. Sami wants a bonus - to see the look on Kate's face when she learns the truth! - Mel wonders why on earth Gabi assumes she would date Chad. Gabi has noticed their glances. Mel insists they are just friends. Glamorous Kate now sweeps in and asks if Gabi has spoken to Sami. No. Kate wants to talk to her with Chad. Gabi offers to text and summon him. Morose Mel puts on her coat and goes to take a break. Kate admires the photographs from the test shoot. Mel is soon walking through the town square and spies Chad. Their eyes lock. She smiles uncertainly. He asks if she is alright. He just got a text from Gabi. Mel thinks it is about those hot pictures. Chad sees she is upset and would rather remain here with her. He emotionally admits that at the photo shoot, he kept imagining he was holding her. Mel cries. Chad claims he too could use a friend right now and wipes the tears from her face. He does not know what to do about his father's attempts to infiltrate his life. Mel quips he is lucky. He now learns that her father is leaving and did not say when he will return. He is very sorry. Mel cries she never saw it coming. Everyone leaves her! Chad holds her in his arms and assures her that Dan will not stay away for long. She cries why does he stay away at all, then breaks away, feeling she should not be doing this, and takes off in her high heels. Chad follows her and argues they need each other. Mel regrets telling him about her dad. He explains he wants to be there for her. What reason is there that they cannot be together? He thinks it is not Abigail. He tenderly touches her chin and she woefully admits it is too hard to say no to him, so he should just stop. Exit Mel. Chad stares. - At the pub, a woman has just gotten off the phone and gets paid by Bo for her services. Now they will get Stefano to talk to them! The sleuthing pair make for the town square. The man at the bank is not there today so he will not tip off Stefano. They are waiting for the phoenix to appear under the arch. He soon does, talking on his phone. Like clockwork! - Back at the spa, Kate is growing impatient that Chad has not arrived. Gabi wonders what it is all about. Kate informs the girl that the test shoot was about them and she wants them to be the new faces of Countess W. Gabi is utterly thrilled. Kate refuses to take no for an answer! - Bo and Hope act surprised when they bump into Stefano outside the bank. The phoenix flashes back to getting a call that there was a problem with the deposit box he shares with A. Grason. He realizes he has been set up! Hope smugly informs him they were just talking about the safety deposit box he shares with her grandmother. Bo smugly stands by her side. Stefano rolls his eyes and slowly shakes his head in dismay at the deception ...! Next on Days of Our Lives Victor admits to Daniel there is something he has been meaning to tell him about Maggie being his mother! Will is sitting with two guys at the pub. One of them asks what happened when he (Will) came out to his parents. Will laughs nervously. Madison confesses to Brady that she has been keeping a secret form him and is now ready to come clean. Brady blinks. |
