He thinks she is a godsend and thanks her for helping him today. She smiles no problem and excuses herself to go to financial. She sighs she is looking for work study. Austin stops her. He is entitled to a student assistant. Is she interested? She gushes she would love it. He finds the number of the student assistant coordinator and makes the call. She is hired! They later high five each other. Austin thinks he is getting a good deal. She promises to do whatever it takes to make his life easier. He invites her for lunch at the campus cafeteria. She would rather get them cheeseburgers from the pub and bring them back to his office. Rafe drinks more water and stares at Carrie's glistening cleavage. A sexy song plays. "Feel the heat, there's no denying we have chemistry even if it's only fantasy! The temperature is riiiiising, I find it's not surprising oh la la!" Rafe stands up and Carrie admires the view. She sighs. Rafe is later on the phone, talking to his cop pal about part of the transcript from the defender's office being missing. Rafe is also carrying ice, Carrie thanks him and rubs an ice cube on her cleavage. Rafe looks ready to explode! - Bo and Hope return to the pub, having rid the streets of a serial drug thief. They get back to the key. Hope suggests they have a look at a website Austin told her about, where one can access public records. Bo is sure he knows which pseudonym sneaky Mrs. H would have used. A. Grayson, her maiden name. Bingo! Hope holds up the key and whispers what was she hiding in that box at Salem National and why the secrecy? Gran did not even bank there ... - At the café, Mateo offers to let Will listen to his ipod tomorrow to a cool new band. Will is enthusiastic, but then catches himself and decides he must check his schedule first. Mateo is surprised. Sonny announces he has a name for the coffee house. COMMON GROUNDS. Mateo likes the double meaning. He asks Will if he does. Will says sure, then suddenly takes off. Mateo asks Sonny what the hell that was all about. Sonny explains it is hard for Will, as he is just not there yet. "Just not there." - Rafe now tells Carrie they have a new lead. A witness saw someone acting suspicious in the vicinity of the arson. Carrie has gone over the missing part Rafe's pal sent them, and there are discrepancies. She is glad to help, and anyway it looks like her potential client was not a client. They both hope they will get paying clients soon! - Justin and Adrienne join Mateo and Sonny, all smiles. Tormented Will stares at the happy group as a song plays in the background. "I see you hiding in the shadows ..." Hope puts down Alice's key. Bo smiles. Abigail returns with the burgers. Unsuspecting Austin smiles. Meanwhile Carrie touches her neck and it's more ice on herself. Rafe tries to fight the attraction. She informs the banker that legally this box belongs to her now. He say actually it doesn't! |
