PART 1 - At corporate headquarters, Kate is having trouble finding a new face to represent the essence of Countess W. Sami sees the pictures and agrees they are all too skinny. She thinks Kate is going about it all wrong. Kate points out she got the best of the best from the top talent agencies. Sami insists women these days do not identify with starving waifs. She suggests they launch a new campaign where they do a search for the new face of Countess W. They could start in Salem, then go national, perhaps even international. Kate is very interested and uses the G word. Genius! Sami is flabbergasted she called her a genius. Kate quips she only called her idea a genius. Sami declares she loves her job. Maybe she will take Rafe out to celebrate. Kate notices she is overdoing it with him - Rafe this, Rafe that - and wonders whether there is trouble in paradise. Just what did she do to him ...? - Brady is at the pub with John and calls his written outline to rebuild Basic Black great. John is pumped. They are interrupted when Lexie and Abe enter. They too are happy to hear that father and son are joining forces. John declares being with his son made the whole mess worth it! They sit down and Abe informs Brady there will be an interview today, the same day the pension funds are being dealt with. Brady steps away to take a call. Abe thanks John for endorsing him too. Brady must head off to Titan. Abe gets a text and repeats to John he is glad John and Brady are working together. John grins he hopes his endorsement will help bury that EJ DiMera! - Nicole is struggling with the angry birds ipad game at the mansion. EJ wonders why she is tense. She has heard John is about to endorse Abe. EJ tells sweetheart it is old news. Nicole complains about Abe's latest plan. EJ is not fussed about it. Will uncomfortably appears and Nicole is surprised. EJ smugly introduces him as the brand newest member of his campaign. He claims the lad is interested in politics and this work for him will go towards college credit. Nicole notes he picked the right team, but is suspicious he is not with team Abe Carver. EJ lies that there were no opportunities with Abe. Nicole welcomes him to the team, forces a smile, and goes to make some phone calls. Will wonders what EJ wants now. Why did he summon him? EJ informs him it is time to earn favors with the master! Abe is at the Brady pub, where John is giving a speech about returning the money for the pension fund. He orders Will to go there and copy the mayor's computer files. Will refuses to steal the files. EJ snaps he owns him and threaten to go public that he shot him. He hands him a flash drive and advises him to do it. Are they clear? Will mutters they are and unhappily leaves. Nicole soon returns and teases EJ to come clean about his real reason for hiring newbie intern Will Horton. EJ grins he will give them the boost they need. She wishes she had his confidence and flirts for an answer. - At the house of Kiriakis, Maggie points out to Victor that he must have caught Madison off guard. Madison admits to him that the notion of her giving up the day to day running of her Mad World would be a problem. Maggie diplomatically calls a coffee break. Victor reminds Madison that Titan is a multitude of subsidiaries she could run. She would make a hell of a CEO! Madison is flattered. The redhead suspects she is feeling a tad overwhelmed. She suggests the Greek tycoon give her a minute or sixty to decide. Vic pleasantly agrees. That will also give him a chance to have corporate put together a salary package for her consideration which will contain all the bells and whistles. Madison thanks them respectfully and takes her leave. Maggie thinks he chose wisely. He thanks her for all the backup and gives her a kiss. They sip their coffee and the redhead praises him for taking it well that Brady decided to leave. The Greek tycoon believes his grandson is maturing. They both agree it will give him a chance to renew him relationship with John. Maggie is sure Isabella is smiling down on him right now. She also reminds him that he still has a son! Vic sighs. Phillip is busy with his life in Chicago. Maggie, however, had Bo in mind. Victor admits he was great when he was once at Titan, though he doubts he would want to leave the police force. Maggie thinks he would be flattered if he considered him. Vic wonders how he got so lucky to find her! He was the luckiest man to fall in love and marry her. The redhead blushes. The pair kiss passionately. - Madison and Brady walk and talk at the town square. He updates her on John's excitement. She secretly wishes he were still at Titan so they could work together. Brady thanks her for encouraging him to reach out to his father. And they will be able to keep seeing each other. Madison suddenly states it might not be possible! Brady stares. What does she mean exactly ...? - John is finishing his interview with the pretty reporter at the pub. He reiterates his plans to pay back all investors and rebuild his company. He also officially endorses Abe for mayor. Enter Will. The reporter has some questions about the investment funds for John. Busy Abe greets nervous Will and steps away to use his phone.
