His bunny has a tear so he offers to suture him up as soon as they get a needle and threat from manservant Henderson. He takes him by the hand and promises Jen they will be back. Jen waits. He soon returns, having left Parker with Henderson. She calls his boy beautiful and gathers he would not want Chloe to go back to Chicago with him anytime soon. The wedding party of Gabi, Nick, Sami, Rafe, Will, and Abigail convene at the church. Sami goes to see what is keeping Eric but stops when she overhears Nick talking about his new job. What new job! Daniel sits with Parker on his lap and the now mended bunny. He introduces him to Jen, who extends her hand with a smile. Victor and Maggie rush in, as she had panicked when his bed was empty. Dan chuckles the bunny’s prognosis is excellent. Maggie takes a look and praises her son the surgeon. Jen uncomfortably notes it has been quite a night and then turns to Victor. She quietly states she is sorry for him. He grins he is still technically part of the picture and she should see it the same way too. Jen unhappily watches Dan with his son. She feels this will change Dan’s life. Victor insists she and Daniel belong together. Nicole is stunned to hear that Chloe actually had Daniel’s baby all along. Chloe is sorry if she is being insensitive. Nicole reminds her how she called and stood by her. Besides, now she wants to focus on her. Now that she knows, what is her plan? Chloe pauses. She announces she is here to reclaim her life and get back everything that was taken away – everything that should have been hers! Back at the mansion, father and son Daniel and Parker giggle and bond. Nick is very sorry he did not tell Sami yet but he chose to accept Kate’s lucrative offer. Sami snarls that he used the interview with her to get something better. Rafe whispers this is not the time but Sami demands to know! Nick assures her that was not the case. Sami complains she brought the contract tonight to offer him and insists he at least owes it to her to say what he settled for. Nick agrees and they step away together. Gabi is worried as Rafe assures her it will be fine. Nearby Sami realizes Kate made an offer she could not possibly have matched. Her wrath transfers from Nick to Kate. Nick is visibly relieved. Nicole muses she and Chloe used to booze it up at the Cheatin Heart and now here they are having coffee. Chloe admits she was unhappy in those days as Vivian had her believing Daniel did not love her. She was even drunk from drowning her sorrows when she cheated with Phillip. Now things are finally looking up and she intends to make things right. Nicole asks if she will try and get Daniel back, then realizes she will. She points out Dan now loves Jennifer Horton so she will not be able get him back. “Watch me!” dares diva Chloe. Victor sternly advises Jen not to let Chloe use this situation to her advantage. Jen refuses to think of herself tonight and unhappily watches Dan with his son. She quietly gets her coat and heads for the door. Dan stops her and hopes she was at least going to bid him goodnight. She feels she should leave. He, however, has something to say to her that simply cannot wait! He explains that his life has changed tonight. She understands. He teases he is doing the talking. His feelings for her have not changed and he wants her in his life, with his kids and her kids, and hopes she wants the same. She gasps she does and he gives her a passionate kiss by the door. Father Eric has some words of wisdom about marriage. Sami smiles at Rafe as the priest announces love is something one must fight for. She flashes back to their wedding. So does Rafe as they sit close. Sami has had trouble keeping his hands off her leg despite the fact that they are in the house of God. The rehearsal soon comes to an end. Groom Nick and Bride Gabi stand, with Will the woeful best man in place. Father Eric explains the couple will kiss and then depart to start their happily ever after together. Sami gazes at Rafe. Eric assures the bride and groom that tomorrow will be the perfect day for them. Nearby the lurker watches unseen, waiting waiting waiting ... END |
