Kristen agrees the rest of the world can go to hell, then woefully watches as he falls asleep. “It always does,” she whispers in a moment of truth. Cam notes Abigail was promoting Sonny and Will. She smiles they love each other and could be happy again. She is all for second chances, especially when one person had not realized how much they might have hurt the other. Cam smiles in understanding. He is suddenly paged to his rounds. Abigail sweetly suggests they get together sometime, even if only to discuss what happened between them. He would like that. Sonny wonders what is new with admirer Brian. Brian jokes he has been contemplating the emptiness of his existence. Sonny wonders what he came up with. Brian gazes at him and notes that despite the emptiness, one can at least get a good cup of Italian espresso along the way. Sonny appears pleased with the attention. Chad explains he would have taken the secret to his grave if he had known Will was the father. Will grins at least he got this and proudly shows him the sonogram picture. Chad is happy for him and suggests he talk to Sonny, whom he overheard discussing how much he loves him at the coffee house. Will teases him for eavesdropping. Chad wishes him good luck with it. Rafe assures Nick he will take care of Sami. All he needs to do is take care of his sister. Exit Rafe. Nick stares ominously. Sami whispers she is sorry and assures EJ he has deserved better from her. “There has been something between us from day one ...” They danced around and let others stand in their way. However, no matter what happens … “It always comes back to you.” She cannot stay away from him and is tired of fighting it! She will understand if he tells her to get lost, yet she will not give up or go anywhere. “I am putting you on notice EJ.” From this moment forward, she will do whatever it takes to get him to come around. “I believe we belong together!” she defiantly declares. EJ is still listening. Sonny locks the door of the now closed coffee house. Brian finishes his espresso and Sonny chuckles it will keep him up all night. Brian grins if one wants something, one should just do it! He stands up and informs Sonny it is good to hear him laugh too. Sonny laments it has been a long time. Brian does not think it should be like that for him and kisses him passionately. Sonny kisses him back on impulse. They keep kissing. Will arrives and peers through the dark door … Nick is back at his computer in the dark. EJ stands up and digests Sami’s declaration. Sami stands up and begs him to say something. She cries. He drawls like usual, she has said everything. He admits he had reached the end of his patience. She cries for a chance. He takes her in his arms and their noses touch, then their lips and they kiss like two lovers. She lets out a gasp. He lifts her slightly, smiles, and kisses her again. Raging Rafe gets to the front door and bangs loudly. He demands Sami open up but the couple on the other side do not even notice amid their passionate bliss as they continue to kiss ... END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Chloe realizes Dan and Jen have big date plans she is unable to stop. Rafe has his final words with Sami. |
