FALLOUT - Part 2 - With Sonny in the background, Will wipes away a tear and confesses he lied to Marlena and everyone. She reaches out to touch him across their table and reminds him he is not alone. She praises his kindness, says she loves him, and insists she has faith in him. He wonders what to do next. She knows he can sort this out with his parents as well as her to help see him through it. Will laments but can she help him with Sonny? She suggests he talk to him, tell him how he feels but warns not to push. Even the best relationships are not smooth. She urges him to be kind to himself too. Will is overwhelmed. She kisses his head and steps away. Will wipes the tears from his face and whispers it will be okay. Exit Marlena. - As Sami drinks her wine, EJ pleasantly explains he saw William earlier. The resilient lad appears to be hanging in there. Sami thanks him upon hearing he let him know he is there for him. He drawls the same goes for her and stands up to embrace her. She cries on his strong shoulder like a lost child. - Abigail repeats she is sorry she got mad at Cam and hopes he is not mad. Cam thinks it is admirable that she is so fiercely protective of her friends. She thanks him but does not want his girlfriend to get the wrong idea seeing them together. Cam starts to say something, but then stops. He sighs it was nice seeing her, and heads back to the hospital. - Gabi and Nick sadly remove their wedding rings. He promises this is temporary and he will marry her, raise the baby with her, and they will have some more. Gabi cries it is over cos the truth is out. Nick insists all that matters is he loves her and she loves him. No one will stop them from being together and no one will stop their love! - Exasperated Rafe follows Father Eric into his holy office and complains about Nick and the lies. Eric points out the young people love each other. Rafe concedes he did not set a good example with Nicole. Eric agrees. Rafe goes on to say that when things came out, everything changed for the better. Eric notes Nicole found her way and then Rafe found his way back to Sami. Rafe grumbles until he saw her true colors today! He had actually believed they had a chance before she attacked his sister … Eric points out everyone was upset. Rafe adds he saw a side of her that made him want to run in the other direction fast! There is no way they can ever get back together now! - Sami confides her worries to EJ about the fallout that will affect Will’s life. She does not want him to lose Sonny. EJ thinks they will weather this storm and gives the pair of them as an example of a couple who managed to work through their seemingly insurmountable differences. He now perceives something else is troubling her. Sami complains about Rafe blaming Will for everything. EJ argues Will is a decent chap with a good heart and a conscience. Sami laments Rafe does not think so. She sighs it is all a big mess. EJ urges her to look at him. "WE are going to be there for William, we are on his side. We are going to fight for him and he’s not doing this alone ..." - Will gingerly approaches Sonny at the coffee house and offers to move his stuff out of his place, assuming he wants him gone. Sonny is silent. Will asks him to look at him. He does though he remains silent. Teary-eyed Will admits he knows not how this will play out but he does not wish to lose him over it! - Sami emotionally thanks EJ for being there for Will. He assures her he always will be, for her as well. She gushes she knows and lies on his chest as they cuddle on the couch. - Will lets Sonny know that despite what has happened, he loves him. He steps away and makes for the door, then exits, hanging his head. Sonny stares into space, then murmurs “I love you too Will.” - Gabi wonders how anything can be the same now. Sami is determined to be a part of their baby’s life, along with Will. Nick flashes back to Lucas shouting he went to prison for Will. Back to reality. The illustrious Nick Fallon ominously tells his beloved not to lose faith, for they can still get everything they ever wanted …! END Next on Days of Our Lives Marlena is wired!
