Episode 12,001 - Replay of here comes the bride and there goes Chad’s mouth with the shocker about Nick not being the bona fide baby daddy. The marriage moment morphs into mayhem! Doug and Julie are late. Rafe snaps at Chad to sit down. Nick agrees. Chad rages on and insists Gabi must tell the truth for once! She stares in horror. Abigail implores him to sit down. Chad insists the bride is hiding something and dares her to say who the real father of her baby is. Rafe shoves him to the door . Hope helps. Nick accuses him of being bitter about losing Mel. Chad denies it and claims Gabi is a lying slut as he saunters back toward the wedding party. Rafe growls and attacks! The Hortons and Hope pull Rafe off him. Hope warns Rafe to back off and ushers Chad out but Rafe follows them. She stands between the two angry men and grabs Rafe’s phone in order to save his police career. She immediately orders a unit to the church stat! Meanwhile, inside, Gabi hyperventilates and complains to Nick that she cannot see clearly as the tears flow. He urges her to just breathe. Will watches. Abigail blames herself. Julie sums it up.“Clearly, we missed a lot!” Maggie updates them on what is happening. Julie is not surprised by Chad’s vengeful interruption, given he is a DiMera. Victor certainly is not impressed with the unusual revenge. Outside, Hope lectures Rafe for attacking a man who was not accused of any crime and he is a cop. She will speak to Chad. Chad will not let up. He matter-of-factly states Gabi is a lying bitch. He wonders if he is under arrest. Hope warns him he will be cited for disturbing the peace. Chad proceeds to state his case. He points out Nick was in the slammer when Gabi was impregnated so Nick cannot be the father! He tells them what he overheard and then did the math. Rafe snaps those are all lies. Hope pulls Rafe aside and mutters, through her brightly painted lips, what if it is true? She reminds him of Gabi and Nick acting like they had slept together the day they met. Rafe reasons she was not herself after the day of the explosion, then confronts Chad as the father. Chad, however, is sure it was Andrew the stalker! - Inside, Abigail wonders why Chad would make up such a mean lie. Will blinks and observes devastated Gabi slowly shaking her bridal head. Kate remarks to Sonny it is not like Chad to make up such an odd, fanciful lie. Sonny notes maybe he did not make it up. Desperate groom Nick asks the priest to proceed but alas he cannot! Will starts to look worried now. Gabi and Nick approach. Nick argues they took their vows already and nothing has changed. The priest wishes to confer with the bride but Nick insists what Chad said meant nothing. Father Eric needs to speak with Gabi at the rectory. Nick repeats nothing has changed. Eric solemnly notes it has changed. Nick claims Chad told a lie he cannot back up. Will steps up and quietly decides it will not work. “I’m not going to keep doing this. The truth is going to come out.” Gabi hangs her head, aware he means it. Nick urges him not to ruin this. Suspicious Lucas wonders to surprised Sonny what Will is doing. Nick suddenly decides the couple should leave to confer with the priest. Will stops them. Gabi shakes her head. Will takes a deep breath. “Chad was telling the truth. Nick’s not the father of Gabi’s baby. I am.” Lucas rubs his head. Maggie covers her mouth with a hand. Will turns to stare at Sonny, whose face appears void of emotion as he digests the information. Gabi lifts her dress and bolts like a runaway bride. Stunned Sami asks Will if it is true. Will is sorry and goes after Sonny. He grabs him and is sorry he lied. He loves him and does not want this to change things. It does not have to change things. Sonny snaps it changed everything and takes off, his eyes blazing. Family members want answers from Nick. Lucas wants answers from Will. Will starts to leave and pleasantly congratulates him for becoming a grandfather. Billie whispers to Kate that would make her … Kate grumbles not to say it! Gabi runs into the changing room and cries to her unborn baby she is so sorry. - Rafe is miffed that Chad believes Gabi messed around with her stalker. He explains she knew him from modeling shoots. It was him unless she picked up a guy while wasted. Chad calls Gabi a user and a slut. Hope warns him to sit down and shut up! - Sonny comes out the doors and informs Rafe and Hope it is true. They head back inside. Chad is left with a cop. Sonny calls him a bastard. Victor emerges and agrees. He has proven to be a DiMera through and through! The Kiriakis men exit. Chad sticks out his chin. Rafe approaches Nick inside the church and wants to know what happened. Lucas insists on talking to Will, who wants to find Sonny. Nick assures Rafe he loves Gabi and it is her baby. He declares he would do this all over again! Rafe listens patiently as Nick tells his side of the story, from Will taking Gabi to the clinic to have an abortion … Rafe cannot believe what he is hearing. “Will is the baby’s father?!” - Abigail confronts Chad for playing her but he denies it. She is upset he humiliated Will for now everyone knows he is the father of Gabi’s baby! Chad’s eyes widen. Abigail and Jen are ready to leave. Chad tells Abigail he is sorry, he had no idea that Will was the baby’s father. Abigail blasts him for hurting people. It was sick! Jen ushers Abigail out after leering at least her daughter got to see the real DiMera him! - Hope is not sure about Rafe going to see his sister.Nick is feeling overly protective and wants to be the one to go to her. Rafe only seeks the truth. Hope stops Nick so that Rafe can go to his sister first. Nick laments it is a mess but they were doing what was best for the baby. Hope agrees Chad handled it badly but told the truth. Nick argues the bigger truth is the most important one - that he and Gabi love each other and the baby too. - In her dressing room all alone, broken bride Gabi cries she is very sorry, assuming Nick is standing there. Not exactly. Tis hurricane Sami! Gabi cries it was working out. Sami accuses her of trying to keep her son’s child from her and their family and rages that is not gonna happen! - In the church, Maggie feels badly. Julie assures her it is not her fault. She regrets she and Doug went on that cruise but Doug does not think Nick would have taken them into his confidence regardless. Meanwhile, Nick grumbles he is going to take care of the baby to Hope. Kate steps up and suggests he might not be a good match for her company after all! Nick knows he has options and tells her to do what she must. He walks out the church door, where Chad stands alone. Chad taunts the man of the hour. Nick takes a look around, to ensure they are alone, and gets closer. He dangerously whispers that revenge is sweet but he needs to remember the last time he was happy, and threatens he will not even see him coming! Nick now goes back inside. Chad is tense. So he should be! - Lucas catches up to Will at the town gate and stops him from racing to Sonny, as they must talk! Will is concerned that Sonny is hurt but Lucas growls this is now about the life he created and is responsible for. This baby is not a technicality! Will assures him he knows. Lucas lectures him for letting another man raise his kids and for avoiding his fatherly responsibilities. As of now that is OVER! Nick silently listens around the corner, unseen. - Sami accuses Gabi of using her son and using her. She should not have made a play for her vulnerable boy! Gabi sobs it was not like that. Sami growls it must have just been exercise for her! She used Nick too and used her! “You are a lying manipulative little bitch!” Gabi starts to collapse. Rafe walks in and shouts at her to STOP!
