Days Offers up an Explosive 12,000th Episode! - Susanne Rogers introduces the 12,000th show with a charming smile and thank you … - Rafe and Sami are kissing like a couple of teenagers at her place. She gasps she thought they would wait … he keeps kissing her. This is what she wants? Sami melts. More passionate kissing ensues. Shirtless Rafe soon kisses her on the couch and her robe starts to come off. Knock knock! Much to Rafe’s chagrin, Sami jumps up to answer the door. Tis Hope with a necklace. She looks from panting Sami to panting Rafe as he buttons his shirt and stammers he has stuff to do. He asks Hope to drive Sami to the wedding and departs. Sami gushes she will see him later and rushes into her bedroom to get dressed. Hope cannot help but be amused. - Sonny catches Chad on his way out of the coffee house. He is stunned to hear his business partner - aka the Nick and Gabi hater - needs to find a suit for Nick and Gabi’s wedding. “What’s up with that?” Chad claims he was tired of being mad and is moving on from his old feelings for Mel. Abigail invited him to hang out … Sonny stares. “At Gabi and Nick’s wedding???” It is utterly disorienting. Chad gets righteous about being happy for people but does the revenge driven DiMera really mean it? - Abigail asks Jen how last night was at Daniel’s. Jen laments it was not what they expected. He learned Parker is really his son. She updates her on the test fiasco. Abigail hears a noise and suggests she check her phone. Jen discovers she has a text from Dan, who will drop by before she goes to the wedding. Abigail reminds her that Chloe hurt him. Jen sighs so did she. Abigail reasons Chloe cheated, which was worse. Jen assures her they will be fine. Mother and daughter will see each other at the church later. Maid-of-honor Abigail walks upstairs with her dress. - Lucas meets Kate at the park, surprised she is not on her vacation. She simply had to return home on the redeye flight. “The bitch is back!” she complains. Lucas feels it is perfect that Chloe is back in town with Parker. Kate fears he has designs on her and gets Billie to agree with her that he should steer clear of her. Lucas drawls he just hopes she will sink her claws into Daniel, so he will leave Jennifer alone! Billie notes Jen would be good for Parker and it is all about Parker. Kate ominously agrees whatever is best for Parker, an evil glint in her eye … - Chloe approaches Dan at the hospital and gushes this is like old times. He casually wonders what brings her by. She wishes to find a pediatrician for Parker and is interested when he offers to make recommendations. He gives her a couple of names. She suggests they spend his coffee break together to talk. He is spending his break with Parker and then going to see Jen. Dan gives his ex a stern look and hopes she understands. Nothing will change what he has with Jen. Chloe insists she has no illusions as she knew they were already over. He is relieved and walks off. Chloe appears downtrodden. For now. - At the pub, before Will can answer Gabi’s invitation to be the baby’s godfather, Nick snaps no way in hell! Gabi is sorry she did not check with her fiancé first. Will stands up and tells him off for not wanting him to be near his own child. This cannot continue! Nick sighs. Will thinks he does not think he is fit to be his own child’s godfather. Nick points out the child would be confused and reminds him how tough things were for him. He claims he also fears it would be torture for Will to be around the baby and not tell him the truth. Will pauses. But he can help with the baby. Gabi decides she was not thinking clearly and retracts her offer. Nick assures Will he can still see the kid and hear about him from the Horton clan. Will dismally hugs Gabi and heads for the church. She thanks him. Gabi now whispers she is sorry to control freak Nick. He loves her but remarks they should discuss before she makes such moves in the future. - Hope admires the necklace Sami is now wearing along with her little black dress and teases her about Rafe. Sami admits they are trying again … it just happened. Hope is thrilled and hugs her, promising to keep her silence. Sami jumps up and down for joy. Hope says they were meant to be. Like her and Uncle Bo, wonders Sami? Indeed. - HR bitch Anne pours herself coffee at the nurse’s station, obnoxiously trashing HRH Jennifer for getting another day off. Her Royal Hortoness always gets away with murder! Chloe stops and listens, very intrigued. Anne makes snide remarks about Jen attending Nick pill popping Felon’s wedding. Chloe greets her with a sweet smile. Anne is elated to see her and they decide to go have coffee and catch up together. Oh oh! - Jen opens her door to Daniel. She explains she needs to run but he only needs a few minutes. “I love you!” he exclaims. She loves him too but … He insists nothing has changed. Jen thinks it has. Dan reminds her he wants her to be a part of his Parker story. Jen gushes she does love him and loves kids. She speaks of the tender age Parker is at, when he needs him to be a constant in his life. Dan hopes she will be a constant. She promises she will with a smile and thanks him for understanding why she wanted to attend Nick’s wedding. Dan gets he is her family. She notes Parker is his family. They agree to do a shopping date later to prepare him for the coming of Parker and share a kiss. - At the church, everyone has wedding fever! Busy Abigail and Sami are helping bride Gabi get ready. Abigail excuses herself to look for Chad. Sami is ready to help with the veil and squeezing into the dress. Gabi gets emotional about Sami helping her and hugs her. Since Arianna died, she never thought she would have someone as close as a sister again. Sami promises she will always be like a sister to her if that is what she wants. Gabi gushes it is. Sami is happy to do this for her. She still considers her family and thinks the baby will connect them forever! Maybe she could consider her an honorary grandma … She corrects herself, concluding it would be better to be an aunt! - Father Eric is more nervous than Nick the groom and Rafe. Rafe teases Nick all he needs to notice is his bride. He now gets a call and steps away. Will fixes his collar. Eric goes to fetch his priestly notes. Nick hopes he and Will are okay now. Will stares. Rafe heads for the bride’s changing room and tells Sami he must speak with his sister. He hands her the phone. Tis mama Hernandez! Gabi converses with her in Spanish, thanking her, saying she loves her. Rafe thinks it went well. Gabi cries she is excited about the baby. Rafe hugs her. Sami ushers him out so she can get her ready. Gabi is overwhelmed … Meanwhile, Will calmly tells Nick they are okay. Nick praises him for doing the right thing. - Maggie arrives at the church with Victor. He assures her Parker will be fine with Adrienne watching over him. Caroline enters and they greet her. Maggie notes it is thanks to her that Nick got his second chance. Caroline downplays it. Maggie excuses herself to say hello to someone. Caroline solemnly informs Vic she is glad Daniel is getting a second chance too. Vic grumbles about Chloe the bad news bimbo. - Chad and Abigail meet behind some flowers at the church. She thanks him for coming. He grins he would not miss it and compliments her dress. Elsewhere. Sonny catches up with Will and gushes how fast he moved in. He cannot wait to dance with him later! Will points out he needs to find the priest … - Sami finds Rafe and they kiss by some flowers. Rafe drawls if Nick and Gabi are half as happy as they are gonna be …. He keeps kissing her. Sami reminds him they are there for the wedding and really must get back to the anxious bride. Rafe grabs her one more time. “I love you, Sami Brady!” and then releases her. She flounces off with a smile. - Lucas has arrived with Kate, Billie and flower girl Ally, whom he thinks will be the prettiest girl. Ally announces Gabi will have the best dress. They go to find her. Lucas quietly asks Billie to check on Jennifer. Billie gingerly greets Jen, who is speaking with Hope. The talk turns to Parker and Billie hopes Jen is not worried about Chloe. Jen assures her Dan insists Chloe will not be an issue. Billie thinks the medicine man is too smart to be deceived by Chloe again anyway. - Dan is surprised to find Chloe at the house with Parker. Maggie had the wedding and she did not wish to leave him with a stranger yet. As he sleeps, Chloe notes he is a deep sleeper. Dan offers to watch him. Chloe admits there is something she needs to get handled and could use his help. It concerns their boy’s name. She explains how she fought Phillip on changing Parker’s name and won. Dan is impressed. Chloe notes Parker Daniel is the name their boy was born with and she wants it to be Parker Daniel Jonas. Dan emotionally thanks her. - Hope sits in a pew with Caroline and muses she cries at weddings, though she tries to hide it every time.
