Nick grins and takes a deep breath. Will grins too and they slowly make their way out. Meanwhile Sami and Abigail are in Gabi’s room, where the blushing bride is not yet ready Sami suggests she soak every precious moment in. As the harp music plays, Father Eric elegantly takes his place at the altar, followed by Nick the groom. Sami takes her seat with a grin. Eric nods. The flute accompanies the harp music as flower girl Ally appears. Abigail now walks up, arm in arm with Will. Sonny smiles. Kate suggests it may be him and Will someday. Lucas jokes he could be a bridesmaid. Now begins the wedding march … Gabi glides in on the arm of brother Rafe in her traditional white gown and veil. Nick is a happy man. They take their places. Father Eric proceeds with the ceremony. Chad stands in the back and he is not smiling. Rafe gives his sister in this marriage and lifts her veil for a kiss. He steps away and joins Sami, thanking her for giving his sister the wedding of her dreams. She beams and takes his arm. Eric thanks God for the love that has brought the young couple together and adds as a community they will offer their support. Hope reads a passage on marriage, as does Maggie. Gabi and Nick hold hands. The priest asks if anyone objects before their vows. “Speak now or forever hold your peace!” Silence fills the church. Will’s eyes flicker. Dan cuddles Parker, who plays with his watch. He promises he will love and protect his son and never let him go again. Chloe is pleased to hear it. The vows commence. Nick grins he loved her at first sight. Gabi calls him a gift. She takes Nicholas Fallon to be her husband … Nick agrees “in sickness and health, as long as we both shall live.” Father Eric continues. “And now by the powers vested in me, I now pronounce you …” Chad suddenly stands up. “Hold on!” He has something to say. “If this marriage is about love and truth, then shouldn’t Gabi be marrying the REAL father of her baby?!” The guests turn in shock.
