| DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Thursday, February 9, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! A NIGHT TO REMEMBER - Part 2 - Madison gasps to Brady this is the last thing she expected. He loves her. She loves him too, more than he will ever know. They stand up and embrace. EJ puts his arms around Nicole and wonders if she is bothered by that. She admits she is, a little. He murmurs it is okay and tenderly kisses her head. She insists she does not want to be with Brady, though. EJ wonders if it bothers her that Brady is marrying again. Nicole explains she just does not like to see other women happy. EJ chuckles Madison is crying. A sign of things to come! Nicole thinks they are tears of joy. Brady now sees them and warns Madison they have an audience. EJ realizes as a mayoral candidate he must be friendly and approaches the couple with an uncomfortable Nicole. EJ hopes congratulations are in order. Brady graciously thanks him. Nicole hopes they will be happy. Madison thanks them too. Nicole quips they must want to be alone and walks away. EJ follows. Madison smiles that was fun and wants more champagne, but Brady wants his answer. - Bo demands to know what Stefano hopes to gain. He laughs nothing. Kate wonders if they will all be writing their own wedding vows again. Stefano warns an annulment could bring up another question. John wants to know what. Kate insists her hubby enlighten them. Stefano jokes that Bo might start to worry that Hope has been thinking of making love to John while they have been together. Bo thinks he is a bastard. Marlena defiantly warns the phoenix his tactics will not work. He drawls they are the ones who came seeking him out. Kate leers that they are always welcome. Stefano reminds them he cannot exert mind control over people unless they really wanted to do something. And Marlena as a professional should know better. He could not make two people get married unless they rrrrrrreally wanted to! John and Hope point out he is bothered by not having what they do with their significant others. Kate suspects they are protesting too much. Stefano remarks Marlena has become rather quiet, as she does not want to deal with the fact that after getting married to Hope, John had another ceremony with her! And they are taking it so well! The two couples are about to leave, then stop and stare. - Nicole and EJ are at their own town square café table and he wonders if she is bothered by being here now. She assures him she is not. Meanwhile, Madison explains to Brady that she was not expecting this. He agrees to let her take as much time as she needs. She whispers she is sorry he is disappointed. He claims he is not disappointed. This is a step she thought she would never take. He understands as he had believed he would never do it again. Finding her changed everything. She starts to cry as he assures her she can take her time. She sniffles it was a surprise. But she is touched and happy he asked her. He is the most wonderful man she has ever met! She promises to answer soon. He drawls they have all the time in the world. - Back at the mansion, Marlena announces it is time to go. They found out what they need to know. This is the case of a pathetic old man trying to relive his imagined days of glory. She wonders whether he has seen what Alice had on him. John doubts it. Hope warns that will haunt him forever. The two couples walk out. Kate praises Stefano for standing his ground with his enemies. The phoenix laughs this is just the beginning. The road to that annulment happens to be fraught with peril so by the time they get it, they may not even want it! Kate is impressed and goes to inform cook they are staying in tonight, for she plans to keep him all to herself. Once she has waltzed out of the room, the phoenix frowns uncertainly. - Meanwhile, EJ asks Nicole if he is the one bothering her. She sighs in a way, it is him. Has he done something to let her down? She laments she had always dreamt of a storybook romance. It was a girlish fantasy. - Brady walks Madison to her door and they kiss passionately. He opens the door. She invites him in. He whispers no, not tonight. - Bo, Hope, Marlena, and John return to the condo. They will not let the phoenix know they are in the least bit worried. John now gets a call and bears news. Turns out this will not be so easy to fix after all. - Stefano unlocks his desk drawer, pulls out the envelope from Alice, and sits down. He clutches it and remembers Hope's warning that he will be haunted by it forever ... - Brady explains to Madison he feels she needs time alone to make her decision. She thinks that he is right. He swears he loves her and that will never change. He hands her back her key and kisses her on the lips. He walks away. Madison now shuts the door, only to come face to face with Ian, her older businessman in a grey suit. He informs darling he has been waiting for her ...! END |
