DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Tuesday, February 21, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! All's Fair in Love and War - or is it?! Part 2 - Carrie and Rafe discuss the crazy situation of Alamania. Rafe has an old pal in the FBI in D.C. and offers to give him a call so he can pull some strings. Carrie appreciates it. Rafe assures her he still has her back. Carrie gazes at him. Rafe later seems to have hit a dead end but continues to gaze at Carrie, promising to keep on trying. He suddenly decides he should get going. Carrie wonders if it is because he is sick of her. He murmurs it is quite the opposite and their eyes lock ... - Austin understands Abigail is hurt. She accuses him of lying about his marriage problems "to get into my pants!" He tries to stop her from storming out. The teen scheme queen snaps not to touch her. - Sami is bitter about Marlena's response. Marlena wants her to face it for the sake of her children. She must stop being selfish and take responsibility for her own actions. If she hurts Rafe, she is hurting the kids. Sami gets upset that she is not taking her side about Rafe kissing Carrie. She accuses Marlena of unfairly taking sides and adds at least she does not lie to her children. Marlena questions the validity of that claim and dares her to take a good long look at herself. Does she really like what she sees? Sami suggests she do it herself. She has, though she cannot change the past. However, what Sami has been through does not give her the right to hurt Rafe. She is so filled with self-pity and rage, she cannot see the best thing that happened to her is about to walk out that door. She is making the same kind of mistakes she did. - Austin calmly states what happened was a mistake. He was drunk. He loves his wife, not Abigail. He is sorry he was not clear and let things get out of hand. He hopes he is being clear. Abigail takes a deep breath. He explains there can never be anything between them. From now on, he will schedule her hours when he is not around. Next semester, he will find her another job. She blinks and asks what he will tell people. That she is a hard worker or an easy lay! - Jack just wants to be better. Jen announces she wants him back so they can be a family again. She hugs him. He is not sure what to say. She had assumed he wanted the same thing. Jack's eyes flicker with uncertainty as he tries to find the words. He finally stammers he wants her more than anything, though he has indeed changed. He brings up the patterns of their relationship. Every time she opens her heart, all he does is break it. She insists he would not hurt her again. He exclaims he will not put her through this again and refuses to change his mind. "It is better that we're separated." Jen cannot believe what she is hearing. He cries he is doing this because he loves her. He suddenly grabs her in a kiss. Then he takes his coat and bolts. Jen calls after him to wait. But alas he does not! Her fair face falls. - Abigail angrily reasons she will not have her heart broken for nothing. She bitterly warns Austin if he wants to fix his marriage, then he will have to tell Carrie about their affair. He reminds her it was only one night, not an affair. Obsessed Abigail defiantly declares they must tell Carrie about it today! - At the office, Rafe and Carrie wistfully agree that they cannot let their significant others get the wrong idea by them sharing office space. She hopefully suggests making a schedule where they do not see each other. Rafe says maybe. He will get his stuff later and exits, sighing outside the door. Inside, Carrie is disappointed. - Back at the loft, Sami remains hostile toward Marlena. When she mentions Will's turmoil, Sami realizes she knows something. Marlena warns her to fix it. Suspicious Sami demands she spill the beans about exactly what she knows right here right now ...! END |
