She accuses him of rigging the election. She defended him to her family and he made her appear a fool! He is sorry. And so is she. It makes her sick he is just like the rest of them despite his moral posturing. - EJ is in the bedroom with the champagne bottle, glasses to celebrate. Nicole makes her grand entrance, clad in a black negligee, eager to please her mayor. They kiss on the bed. He pours the champagne and toasts to Nicole. She is surprised. He thinks it was one of the smartest decisions he made to put her in charge of his campaign. The smartest one was bringing her back into his life. They down their champagne and she naughtily unfastens the Mayor Elect's trousers, kissing his chest. He strokes her head. Things get hot and heavy fast as she shows him her commitment to civil service! - Kate strokes Ian's cheek and muses he is good. He teases she is better. She warns she knows and will never fall for his act again. She advises him to go find another woman to sweep off her feet like a naïve fool, for she is no longer interested! He emotionally declares he only came back to Salem for her. She does not believe it. He warns they are a good fit and her resolve will wear down. He now walks off. Kate sighs. - Brady thinks Madison was stringing him along but she insists she knew he was a the best kind of man. She tried to fight their attraction and he kept pressing. Eventually she could not resist. He points out she never told him the truth. She admits she lost control and feared she would lose him if he learned about Ian. Her and Ian's relationship consisted of only humiliation and pain after a while. She actually despises the man. Brady acknowledges that may be true, but it still does not tell him what he needs to know most. His face hovers closely above hers. He understands better, though he wonders why she is still with the man. Why did she not try and get a divorce? Ian walks in and leers that is an excellent question. He smugly states that sweetheart tried and tried and failed. She would fail again too, as he will never let her go. "Quite simply, divorce is not an option!" - Kate waltzes into the DiMera living room, looking for Stefano. She pours herself a drink, then spies the envelope on the chess set addressed to her. She opens it and reads. "My dearest Katherine, I must leave for a short time. I will be in touch soon. Love always, Stefano." She sighs and flashes back to kissing Ian, then steels herself with a drink, her eyes still glazed with desire. - Lexie cries she cannot believe this happened to their life. Abe suggests they slow this down. She has made up her mind, lifts her suitcase, and announces she is taking Theo. They will go somewhere she can figure out things. He implores her not to, then chokes back the tears. If anyone should go, it has to be him. He will go in order to prevent little Theo's routine from being disrupted. Unless she wants him to stay ... Lexie shakes her head. Abe cries quietly and walks away. Lexie starts to sob. - As EJ sleeps in his bed, Nicole steals downstairs into the DiMera living room and makes a call in the dark. "It's me. I didn't tell EJ what you did but we both know the truth and now we need to talk ...!" END |
