| DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Wednesday, February 1, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! EMOTIONAL RESCUE - Part 2 - Jen quips to Jack she was merely protecting their daughter. He calls her General Custer making a last stand. They cannot choose Abigail's jobs for her. Jen snaps they can for they are her parents. Jack points out their daughter has left the building. Jen notes nothing has happened yet. Jack recalls how she once advised him to back off from Abigail's close relationship with Chad. It was excellent advice. She wishes he would not use things she said against her. He reminds her they have never messed up with their kids and should let them make their own mistakes. Trying to decide for them could mean losing them. Jen cries she lost gran and Daniel and him and she refuses to lose her little girl! Jack consoles her with a hug. They now sit and discuss. He assures her that their daughter would not be modeling in a place like Kabul. Jen admits she cannot let go that she is not a baby anymore. Jack suggests they not fight with her and lose her altogether. Jen is impressed he is now the voice of reason. She listens to him. Always. - Back at the office, Carrie gets off the phone and updates Rafe. None of her contacts in the area has any openings. She will miss this place, but maybe it is time to start packing. Rafe does not want to quit. They were just getting started! He proudly shows her the sign on the door - Reed and Hernandez - and insists they can make this work together! Their rent is paid for the month so they still have time. He will do whatever it takes, even if he has to wear tights! Carrie smiles she is with him all the way. - Brady and Madison are back at her place. He feels there is nothing they could not handle. She starts to confess she has something important to tell him, until the phone interrupts. She stares down as it rings and Brady wonders what is the matter. She puts the phone down and gasps she is just bothered to be called again by her office. Brady explains he must meet an investor. They will have to talk later. In the meantime, he has something to say. He LOVES her. As it turns out, she LOVES him too and they embrace. They seal the deal with a kiss. Happy times. He considers rescheduling his meeting but she thinks he should go. She giggles she will be waiting for him when he gets back. Exit Brady. She gushes he loves her. The phone rings and she now picks up, lying she was in a meeting. "I always have time for you," she coos to the mystery caller. - Sonny informs Will he meant it is not easy to come out, but in the end, it is worth it. One has a better chance of being happy without secrets. Will argues not every family would necessarily be as open as his. Sonny admits his brother did freak out a bit. Will has noticed his parents are awesome and took the news well. Sonny remarks they were afraid he would never find love. Bit that is what life is all about. Finding that special someone. However, how can you find true love if you are not living your own truth? Will emotionally thanks him for sharing. Sonny assures him he can ask or tell him anything. Will looks him in the eye and whispers he knows. Is he ready for a movie now? Sonny just wants to add he does not want a friend to feel alone. Being afraid is worse than not being honest. Will takes it all in. He nods in agreement and fights back the tears. - Carrie teases Rafe he could be a trainer. The women would love him! He notes they cannot give up the fun they have. She is glad they are partners. So is he! - Jen holds a picture of her daughter close and quietly cries. - Jack finds Abigail perched on the town square white sofa, nursing her wounded pride with a coffee. He is sympathetic. She laments why can her mother not be happy for her. He thinks it will take some time. Abigail suspects it will not be soon. He asks her to be careful when she is modeling. Let them know if she does not feel right about something. She agrees. He remarks that would make her mother happy. She thanks him for listening and being there. She is so glad he is home again. Family hug! Jack emotionally adds he is very glad too ... END |
