She updates Abe, who thanks God. Abe is sympathetic she has to go through so many things alone. She is sympathetic that he too is alone. Abe points out life is short. Her beloved husband is miles away … He admits he is channeling Lexie now, who used to say to seize the moment. She would say Marlena is right to be upset. Marlena wipes away a tear. She knows not what to do but Abe believes he does. She needs to reach out and touch someone. She needs to call John! Eric drinks some water. Nicole gasps the guy came back for more. She perceives the red marks on his holy neck. He did not even tell his father everything! Eric emotionally states no one is perfect. They all deserve LOVE. He stares. Nicole stares back. Sonny opens the door and commands Nick to leave. Nick refuses and taunts Will about all the people who know. Sonny stops Will from responding. Nick deduces he knows too and taunts Will about T firing the gun that he ended up using after, plus the other blunders. He has him up against the wall(figuratively that is) so what is he gonna do about it! He takes a step toward him, his hands thrust in his coat pockets, and calmly claims he is not out to ruin his life. He is trying to take care of his family. “Your family?” says Will in disbelief. Nick now taunts that Will’s family would be turned upside down having to testify again him, not to mention that papa Lucas would be up for perjury. He too knows a thing or two about the law! Sonny, the son of a lawyer, calls it blackmail. Nick calls it Will’s choice. He can put Gabi and the baby first nobly or he can force Nick’s hand. He threatens to expose him to the whole world. However, he will give him some time to decide. His final parting shot is “Prison’s not fun, especially for somebody like you!” Exit Nick the notorious. Will's eyes are red with tears as Sonny the tough but tender Kiriakis gives him a hug. Nicole suggests she does not deserve love. She has had so many chances and look where she is. Eric suspects this is really about why she is in such a hurry to go visit her sister in Europe. But if they died tomorrow, there would be things still left unsaid between them. He dramatically declares the time has come to stop lying to themselves and to each other. Love struck Nicole agrees ... Abe reminds Marlena that John loves her and she has much to gain by calling. She smiles and takes her phone, then sighs the battery is dead. In Rome, John attempts to call Marlena but gets only her voice mail. He places another call to another person. “Fire up the jet. I’m goin home!” Brady escorts Kristen into her expensive room. He offers to get her water. She wants to keep talking and sits on the bed. He pulls up a chair. She confides that when he told her about being afraid of marriage, he trusted her and it made her feel closer to him. He explains it was about them. She thinks this is about them too and promises to lay it on the line right here right now. “I really need you to see inside my heart …” And it is about much more than the past. There is something she still tries to pretend never happened. She will now enlighten him on what really befell her while she was gone from Salem ...!
