He gently takes her hand and whispers she cannot leave. They are both needed … to ID the thief. She gasps no. He wonders what is really going on … Ring ring! There is a parishioner on the phone. They must speak in private. Nicole’s eyes are filled with torment as she exits. EJ is seated on Samantha’s desk and regards her with grave concern. Did Nick dare to threaten her? Not exactly. EJ demands to know WOT he said. Sami sighs he admitted he does not want Will to be part of the baby’s life, plus he made a comment about some people not paying for their crimes. EJ wants to call his parole officer. Sami is against it, fearing she would then be exposed for causing Gabi’s stress. EJ hugs her and reassures her. They must think of how to go forward. She is grateful for his support and takes comfort being in his strong arms. Nick appears to be praying when Gabi wakes up. She is tired and asks about the baby. He sighs the baby is fine and he is very sorry. He had promised to protect her. He kisses her hand, vowing he will never allow anything to happen to her or the baby ever again! Will and Sonny are sitting on the floor. Will finishes that he would understand if he walked out on him. Sonny thinks he did not have to tell him that secret. Will wants a new beginning, without the same mistakes as before. Sonny concedes he made mistakes too, like by not taking into account what Will was going through. He wants to be there for him when his daughter is born. Will is looking forward to seeing him holding her. Sonny gets choked up and declares he loves him so much.Will is moved. Kristen wants raging Stefano to calm down He thunders he will not have that man in his house! Kristen argues it is a key part of her plan and asks him to imagine John and Marlena’s reactions. Stefano chuckles about the dagger in the hearts. He heard John is still in Rrrrome. Perhaps he shall deliver the information personally! Kristen only wishes she could have been the one to tell Marlena … Brady is stunned to hear of Gabi’s premature labor and Eric’s attack. He wishes someone had called him about it. Marlena explains they assumed he would not take their calls. Now what did he wish to say to her? He decides it is not so important. Marlena smiles they all love him and still need him in the family. She walks away. Brady glances at his phone and goes in another direction, a frown on his face. Gabi sleeps in her room, then stirs, only to find brother Rafe at her side. She notes Nick was worried about her. He adds they all were. She loves them both dearly and asks where Nick went. He said he had to take care of something … Nick pauses in the town square, an angry look on his unshaven face, his arms crossed. He is a maniac on a mission! Sami thinks she should order flowers for Gabi. EJ the attorney reminds her not to admit any culpability in the note. She teases him about being such a lawyer. She is hoping Nick will come around. EJ assures her that is not necessary. Sami agrees. After all, there is nothing he can do to keep Will from his daughter. EJ the lawyer considers. As they lie under the sheets together in the afterglow, Sonny informs Will they will need a bigger place for his daughter. Will gushes he loves him. They cuddle until Nick bangs loudly on the door, demanding Will open up cos he needs to talk to him! Sonny looks at Will, who freezes. Kristen calls Stefano with something important. She would like him to pretend he is dying when he comes back to Salem. He grins at the woman hanging all over him and laughs he is fine, and never felt better. Kristen explains the story was the only way she could get Brady to agree to move in. Father phoenix agrees to play along. She thanks him for understanding her little charade. Brady slams the door and gives her a cold, hard stare, having overheard … Nicole sits alone on a park bench and implores God to set her free from Father Eric. Back at the rectory, Eric gets off the phone and spies what appears to be a joint on the floor. He slowly picks it up, but then a cord is placed around his throat. He gasps as the attacker proceeds to choke the life out of him …! END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Kristen must explain her lie! Eric is almost killed! Nick tells Will what he has to do. |
