INTO THE FIRE Part 2 Kristen tells herself she can still get her revenge by taunting Brady that she never loved him and was playing him the whole time! Sonny asks Will how he is. Fine and he pours himself a coffee. Sonny suggests he get some sleep. Will cannot. Sonny invites him to the coffee house, which is not yet open to the public. Will is all for it and they happily depart together. Back in the private room, EJ assures Samantha the crisis is over. He warns her not to talk to anyone and leaves to get the car. She agrees and they kiss before he goes. Meanwhile, the gang is told that Gabi must avoid stress. Nick and Rafe are thankful. Kate thanks God. Nick ominously repeats that Gabi needs to avoid stress. Lucas takes it all in. Will and Sonny come into the coffee house from the winter cold. Sonny explains they open in an hour so no one will bother them for a while. Will goes to splash water on his face. Sonny is about to brew the coffee, then accidentally spies an envelope sticking out of Will’s bag. That envelope has Sonny’s name written on it so … Brady is surprised to find Kristen at his front door. He admits he did not sleep much as he buttons his shirt. He asks her in and explains he did not change his mind, though he loves her. She stops him and announces she has something important to say! Kate goes back to the counter to pick up her reading glasses and runs into Rafe. She is glad things turned out the way they did. Rafe drawls he was glad she was there. Kate suggests they get together soon and talk. He is all for it! Exit Kate. EJ saunters up and wonders wot that charming moment with his stepmother was all about …! Sonny takes out the card and reads Will’s Christmas card to him, the handwritten message about how happy he was to have another chance with the only guy he ever loved! Sonny melts. Will returns with a smile. Sonny looks up from the letter, his eyes filled with emotion. Sami gets off the phone with Marlena (unseen, unheard), after telling her mom they are all relieved for Gabi and the baby. After the call ends, Nick the notorious shuts the door and glares daggers at her. “You blew it lady and now it’s all over ...!” Tough cookie Sami looks him in the eye!
