| DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Tuesday, December 27, 2011 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Better In Time - Part 2! - At the house, Jen stops hugging Jack and decides they should regroup before they tell the kids about the family trip to Hawaii. Jack hopes they do not need to take the tree down. Not yet, though Jen informs him she wants to put the family ornaments away. Once Jack is gone from the room, she touches Dan's ornament, closes the box, and fights back the tears. - Dan bitterly laments he always wanted to be a surgeon, nothing else. Brady tries to make him feel better. Quinn joins them and quips if he could change his life on a dime, then so can he! - At the mansion, Mel pouts papa Dan did not keep her in the loop. Maggie is worried about him too but wants them to believe he will be okay. Mel is worried it will not be good. Maggie smiles love will win out in the end as it always does. They hug. - Back at the mansion, EJ stands up from his computer and exclaims he is indeed a DiMera who learned from the master! Stefano wants him to focus and turns on Titan TV. John is about to tell everyone he was set up and that will be in Abe's favor. EJ is already thinking of his next move. Stefano warns it had better be fast, for the clock is ticking! They watch John and Marlena already smiling into the camera. - Back at the mansion, Maggie has tea and cookies with elegant silver. This is the best holiday she has had in a long time! Mel wonders how it feels being Mrs. Victor Kiriakis. They giggle the redhead got all she wanted from Santa this year. She now asks how Mel and Chad are. Mel freezes. She made light of her feelings to Chad as she wanted to protect Abigail. Maggie wonders what if Chad really has feelings for her? - The three shirtless guys stretch on mats and Dan drawls Quinn had choices. He had a career of sorts to fall back on, but he still reinvented himself. Brady admits he did not give him a good chance. Quinn explains he is doing something honest to prove something to himself. He mentions self-respect, then walks off. Brady assures Dan he can still turn his life around if need be. Dan ponders. - Abe proudly introduces John, who will issue a statement and will then answer questions. John steps up and drawls that he has been proven innocent, and he is therefore no defrauder. In fact, he was sickened by what happened under his watch. He was trying to recover his investors' money when he was arrested, as he already knew he was framed. A reporter asks who it was. Abe states that is under investigation, Marlena has something to say and addresses the one who set up her husband. She knows that they are watching and vows to spend the rest of her life making sure he pays. "You will pay dearly!" Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Stefano watches the screen and fidgets. He then glances at EJ. - Back at the house, Jen and Jack have just removed some decorations. He is on a ladder and charmingly points out they are under the mistletoe. He wants to make sure they avoid bad luck. Jen goes along. Jack eagerly leans in for a kiss, but stumbles, then falls back, crashing down with the tree. Jen rushes to his side and hopes he is alright.Jack gasps about being a tree hugger. He then gets to his feet and gasps he is fine. Jen suspects he hurt his head. He admits he falls more than others, into cakes, trees, and in love with her! Jen notes he always makes her laugh. He eyes the mistletoe above and whispers they still have a chance. This time he is on terra firma. He kisses her on the lips. Jen kisses him back just barely. - Back at the spa, the shirtless men confer. Brady wonders if Dan was wise to hand over Jen to Jack. He says what he really thinks. Dan was an ass to let her go and she is a fool to take Jack back! - Back at the pub, John dramatically declares he is liquidating all his own assets as well as Basic Black’s assets to repay all the investors. From the mansion, EJ grumbles he is playing the hero but not for long! Exit EJ, with purposeful steps. - Mel tells Maggie she was wrong to think there could be a future for herself and Chad, for he loves her best friend, not her. - Brady and Dan are signing out of the spa. Dan now gets a call. His test results are in! - John lists to the press how he will pay back everyone. EJ enters and congratulates him. Lexie notes that he is just trying to upstage John. John sarcastically states his well wishes mean so much to him. EJ pleasantly adds he is willing to drop the lawsuit if he was wrong and he would also apologize. Matter of fact, his original reaction had been one of disbelief. John places his hand on his shoulder and points out that is cos he was set up, but he intends to track down the one who did it and make him pay! Back at the mansion, Stefano silently stares at the TV. END Next on Days of Our Lives Hope, with Bo at her side, holds up the key that was hidden in the plaque and would like to know how it got there. Sensing something, John informs Marlena, Carrie, and Rafe that if someone does not tell him what is going on here, he is going to start getting paranoid ...! "I guess I should have fired you when I had the opportunity!" Madison snaps at Sami. |
