Marlena gasps in disbelieving joy. They kiss passionately. Carrie and Austin soon join the embracing pair. He informs the blonde of the judge overturning his case. The former pawn and prisoner grins his freedom is all thanks to Carrie! Marlena calls it a Christmas miracle. John thanks Carrie and hugs her. Nearby, EJ is miffed and tells Nicole he is going to find out how this happened! Bo and Hope face EJ and Nicole. Bo smugly states all their scheming was foiled. Nicole insists EJ will still be mayor and then they will have to report to him. Bo and Hope are most amused! Lexie pulls Marlena away from adoring John for an update. John thanks Abraham for sticking by him. He is sorry if he hurt his campaign. Abe reminds him he is his friend and the two men embrace. EJ sarcastically applauds and warns he will fight this through to the bitter end! - Austin tells Carrie she is simply amazing. She smiles she was just doing her job. He insists she went above and beyond. She would do it all over again. Austin kisses her passionately. Just then Abigail happens by and her face falls. - Lexie requests a word with Abe. She hopes they can stop by her father's place after the ceremony. She explains she was thinking of what the phoenix means to Theo. Abe understands, for it is Christmas. They call each other wonderful, kiss, and exchange I love yous. - Bo and Hope heartily welcome John back. John has high praise for their investigative brilliance. Next on his to do list - he is ready to find the bastard who did this! He also intends to repay every penny owed to all the victims. Sami and Rafe approach. Bo and Hope give the family their space. Rafe would like to ask John and Marlena for a favor on their behalf. They are inviting them both to their wedding vows renewal ceremony. Marlena is surprised. Sami gingerly states she is glad Rafe helped prove John is innocent. John tells kiddo she done good with her man Rafe. Matter of fact, they would love nothing better than to attend the big event. Smiles all around! - Bo and Hope admire the Horton tree and ornaments and Hope credits gran for making things right. Bo agrees she is one amazing woman. Hope misses her. So does he, but she is there with them always! Julie brings them champagne. Jack, Jen, Doug, Abigail, Ciara, Victor, Maggie, Mel all come out. Doug proposes a toast to Alice and Tom for bringing them together and letting them all know what family is about. - Abe officiates at the renewal of Sami and Rafe's vows. Rafe the again groom drawls when he first met her and held her at gunpoint, he knew that she was the one for him! And he meant what he said the first time around. She is his heart and his everything and he will spend the rest of his life making her happy. She makes his life worth living. Will grimaces. Sami cries Rafe truly is her better half. The best decision she made was marrying him. He makes her a better wife, mother, and person, and she promises to be that person forever. She starts to swear she will be loyal, devoted, and honest just as EJ comes around the corner. He stares darkly as she vows to spend the rest of her life loving Rafe. EJ silently turns away. Abe reminds the couple to live each day in love, as Tom and Alice taught them. He now reintroduces Mr. and Mrs. Raphael Hernandez. They seal the deal with a kiss. Family, friends and the kids applaud. The guests congratulate Rafe and Sami. Marlena pushes Will to wish his mother the best. He does just that. Sami soon joins John and Marlena and hugs John, Marlena now hugs John too! - EJ and Nicole open the door of the beautifully decorated DiMera mansion to Lexie, Abe , and Theo. EJ is elated. Lexie appears uncertain of her decision ... - Back at the cozy house, the Hortons enjoy the festivities together as Doug snaps pictures. Abigail, Jen, and Jack sit together on the sofa, admiring a family book. - Back at the town square tree, John once more kisses the woman he loves. END MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM DAYSCAFE! LOVE YA! Next on Days of Our Lives Marlena emotionally informs John her heart is full. Rafe faces Sami, as she downs her champagne and wonders if she is worried about something. "It's about EJ, isn't it?" says he. Sami stares. Bo looks down and tells Hope "You're not going to believe this!! |
