SHAKE IT UP - Part 2 - Still in her elegant home, Marlena has some additional photos for Carrie and Rafe that might also help show John was not at the café when the prosecution claimed. She hopes that Stefano will honor his word. Her phone now rings with a message concerning the psychiatric residency program with the university. She has other things on her mind, however. Carrie is impressed. She loves the idea of her working at the university where Austin will be. The blonde remains distracted. Rafe tries to reassure her about the John situation, but she has a bad feeling. - At the mansion, Stefano snarkily wonders if it does not bother Bo that his wife is so preoccupied with helping another woman's husband. He proceeds to taunt them about her past history and sordid affair with John Black. Bo hands Hope a dollar, for she had bet the phoenix would go there! Hope accepts the dollar and notes it was an even bigger bet! Bo grumbles Stefano has become predictable with age. Hope states she is tired of the games. Will he help John or not! Stefano stares darkly as they wait for his answer. - At the pub, Mel updates Maggie on how she was alone with Chad and they said things about their feelings. Maggie now hears she told him she had feelings for him. Mel thinks she was wrong to do it, for he is dating Abigail, who happens to be her best friend. It just popped out! Maggie wonders how Chad reacted. He said he had feelings for her too. The redhead asks if they have spoken since then. Mel woefully states the last time they talked, Abigail interrupted. She is torn. She alludes to the fact that she does not think she can stop these feelings for Chad. Matter of fact, she does not even want to! - Dan and Lexie are going over his patients' files and he gets upset when he finds the file of a friend of Maggie's, who had found a lump in her breast and wanted him to be the one to do the exploratory surgery. This is why he went into medicine. To help people! Lexie promises they will find what is ailing him. - Back at the condo, Marlena brings up Will to Rafe. Rafe admits there is a great deal of fighting between Sami and Will, and tension in the air. Marlena already knows and will only say the young man is dealing with some complicated feelings. She gets an idea. She could invite Will to move in with her for a while. That would give Sami and Will time to cool off. She does not want to step on Sami's toes, but she is thinking about her grandson and just wants everyone to be happy. - Stefano glares at Bo and Hope. "The answer is NO!" What they are asking for is utterly impossible! Bo accuses him of not caring that Mrs. H saved his boy. A real man would do anything he could to repay such a debt. The phoenix wants them to leave. Hope defiantly reminds him how much his DiMera code of honor really means to him. This promise is something he must therefore honor and he knows it! She puts it down. Stefano watches but says nothing. - Dan arrives at the pub and Mel hides his boxed cufflinks behind her back. He jokingly wants to know what she is hiding. The gals sit back down and refuse to divulge what it is. Dan realizes it is his present and pries. He wants to at least guess. Maggie now decides to let him have it early. Mel reluctantly hands it over. He opens the medical cufflinks and Maggie gushes "Merry Christmas to the best surgeon I know!" He smiles it is the best present and thanks her. Family hug! - Marlena holds a photo of John in her hand. Carrie promises her they will be together soon. Marlena is troubled their future is in the hands of Stefano DiMera yet again. How did it come to this? - Back at the mansion, Stefano explains to Bo and Hope that he will not be able to access the information they would need for him to fulfill their request. It would require more that he does not have. It cannot be turned on and off like a faucet. Hope thinks he is not making sense. Stefano drawls they are done. Bo insists he has not told them enough. The phoenix adds that is how it must be and exits the room. Bo and Hope exchange a glance, aware that they have just been given something, but what does it all mean and where will it lead ...? Next on Days of Our Lives Kate informs Sami that Santa has come early this year, for she is going to change her life! Sami turns and listens, at the same time suspicious and intrigued. Hope points out to Marlena, Bo and Rafe that maybe it was John who did not have access to something. Carrie stares at her open file. "Oh my God! I think I know!" she exclaims. All eyes are upon her ... |
