Marlena suggests they then pay back the money they stole and leave them the hell alone! The phoenix sighs. - Bo and Hope show Rafe the DiMera IOU that they found. Carrie wonders what they could do. Find out if he stands behind it. Bo suspects Stefano might be too suspicious to refuse. Hope believes it could be the ticket to getting John exonerated! Rafe thinks he will laugh, but Bo and Hope know the phoenix better. Eventually Stefano will wonder about EJ's luck and that will make him worry. Hope will point out this is what gran would want. Bo believes this is why Alice saved the IOU, for she felt they would need to use it against Stefano. Rafe admits the new evidence would take a long time to help the case and would depend on the judge. Hope thinks the IOU is all they need ... - Madison asks Brady about his Christmases. Things were good until his dad married that psycho b*tch Kristen, who eventually vanished off the face of the earth. He then remarried Marlena, but Brady incorrectly felt they did not want him around. Madison points out he was just a kid. Brady recalls how Belle used to get stuck in the middle. He regrets he did not do enough for her. She is now married and her daughter Claire has seen most of the world. Sister Belle also knows about John having pleaded guilty. It will feel strange this Christmas, except right here with her! They soon finish decorating the tree and light it up. Madison gushes it is beautiful. She is glad it will be here for her every day after she comes home from work. And thinking about him will be even better! It has been an amazing day. Brady kisses her again. - Rafe reminds the gang that Stefano would need to implicate himself to exonerate John. Carrie explains the defense would be able to present an alternative theory, which Stefano could give them, without naming any names. Hope mutters he had better honor this promise to grandma Alice - or else! - John asks Stefano how he did it. Did he plant one of his people at his company? He suddenly remembers the new executive assistant Holly. She seemed too good to be true and was shrewd. Then just before he heard from the FBI, she was gone! EJ drawls he is cracking under the pressure. Marlena warns them they will never get his company. Stefano chuckles his queen of the night's fury is misplaced. Marlena declares John is protecting his employees from their blood money. John knows they would start outsourcing and make his people do questionable things. Stefano points out they are not the ones serving time. Marlena warns THEY could and should be the ones in jail. EJ insists they have done nothing wrong.. Marlena snaps they are sweating. Stefano grins that his former pawn brought this upon himself and it is beautiful to watch. - Madison finds a wrapped Christmas gift. Brady teases it is from Santa and snatches it when she tries to open it. She tries to grab it back and they end up on the bed together, Brady on top of her. She is breathless. - Back at the loft, Hope and Bo explain that this note will take Stefano back to a time he was afraid for the health of his child. They will see another side to the phoenix, courtesy of Alice! - The DiMeras inform John he has 24 hours. John repeats the answer is NO! Stefano ominously says he is making a verrrrry big mistake. Exit team DiMera. Marlena now assures John he is doing the right thing. He, however, cannot help but worry. He drawls he hopes he is doing the right thing and holds her tighter than ever ... Next on Days of Our Lives A very emotional Jen sadly tells Jack that she cannot face seeing this fail one more time ... Jack sits next to drinking Dan. "I think that you're being an idiot!" Mel looks at Abigail in disbelief as Abi explains she was worried she would tell Chad about the other guy she had a crush on! |
