| Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! HOPELESSLY DEVOTED - Part 2 - Mel stammers that Abigail must do what is right for her. Abigail muses she makes it sound simple. She cannot imagine being without Chad, though her feelings for the other guy must mean something! Jen diplomatically wonders if the other man feels the same way as her. - At the hotel room, Carrie apologizes to Austin for coming home late. He eventually gets over it. She sighs she misses Christmas in Zurich in their cozy little house. They hug and agree they will miss their snow glows and stuff. Austin announces he might be able to cheer her up and hands her the present. He hopes she will like it. Carrie giggles and wants to open it now. Tis their huge Christmas album, all the way from snowy Swiss Zurich. She kisses him and smiles he makes her the happiest wife ever! They sit on the bed and she admires the pics. He would send for all their Swiss stuff if they could fit it into their room. They will look for a place after the holidays. Carrie laughs about her outfit in a picture. Austin laughs he looked like an extra in Miami Vice. Carrie spies mama Anna in a picture too and mentions she has been texting with her ...! Perhaps they should go out tonight, make a donation if her mother's name, hang an ornament at Horton square, and go Christmas shopping together. Austin chuckles he knew he would not be able to get out of Christmas shopping and the lovebirds kiss. - Abigail admits she is not sure how her new crush feels about her. Jen suggests they all go to the town square. Mel and Abigail agree. When Jen steps away to get her bag, Abigail suspects something is troubling Melanie. Chad told her how it was for them being locked in that dingy room. Mel says she was scared. One thinks about all the things one might not be able to do in life. Chad made her feel she was not alone. Abigail agrees he is amazing, so why is she having these other feelings? She is terribly torn. - At the town square café, Chad tells Gabi they should call it a night. He is sorry he is otherwise preoccupied and takes off abruptly. - Sami regains her composure with Rafe. She is sorry if she is acting like a Debbie downer. Rafe assures her everyone knows how devoted they are to one another. Sami emotionally recalls how utterly wonderful their wedding was, but she wants everyone to see how much he means to her. She yearns to show him too. Rafe has an idea. They will renew their vows before the Hortons! Then their marriage will be blessed by God and Salem's most beloved couple. Sami is touched. Rafe jokes they can do the thing at St Luke's for their 50th anniversary. Sami gets all choked up. There are no words to say how much she loves him. Rafe, however, has other things on his macho mind. He grins he wants to rehearse their honeymoon night. picks her up with a naughty growl, and carries her to the bedroom. - At the town square, Jen talks family legacy and love as she and Abigail admire the massive Christmas tree. Mel turns and spies Chad, who gives her a longing look and then vanishes. Carrie and Austin arrive. He hugs her by the tree. Jen marvels that gran was right, as she always said that Austin and Carrie would live happily ever after. Carrie gushes Austin has given her Christmas spirit and they kiss. Abigail watches the solid couple and fights back the tears ... Next on Days of Our Lives John and Marlena sit listening to Stefano and EJ from across the table. John is doubtful. Marlena stares at Stefano like he is the devil incarnate! STEFANO All we are trying to do is salvage what is left of his reputation. EJ John, we're giving you an opportunity to save your company. Carrie is seated next to Rafe as she studies the photo. "Someone set him up. Now we can finally prove it!" |
