He allows her to stand up and continues to tell her about the love of her life, the father of her children, Bo. "He calls you Fancyface," he whispers. "Can you hear him calling your name? Can you see the smile on his face when he says that ...?" Hope starts to cry and suddenly shakes her head. "I need to get home to Bo!" John agrees it is time for them to head home. They are in, Gina and the Pawn are out! John updates her on the Anastasia egg they just stole. Their ticket out of here is to keep letting the phoenix believe they are under his mind control. They will then be able to plan their great escape. All of a sudden, pounding is heard on the door. Stefano orders them to open up! - Kate reminds Ian that Stefano DiMera was not the first man in her life who considered her a mere afterthought. Ian decides that the time has come for him to give her a truthful explanation. He was never happier than he was with her. He cut her loose for her own protection, for he was being blackmailed. He pours himself a drink and laments there was someone lurking around when he was attempting a hostile takeover. The fiend even hired detectives to dig into her background. Kate sighs that was so long ago. Ian goes on. He did not wish her to suffer from her reputation being destroyed, given how far she had come. He had to keep his distance, until the fellow could be neutralized. And that was until just recently. She reminds him he is married to Madison regardless. He declares she is his wife in name only. "I have always loved you!" - Abigail introduces herself to the cute guy, whose name is Cameron. He is sorry he overreacted, but he was nervous about a first meeting. The picture, which cleaned up well, was an intended gift. He needs to go to the office of Dr. Jonas. She will help him get there. He grins he hopes he will see her around. Abigail blushes. So does she! - Back in Daniel's office, Celeste hugs Alexandra. Enter Cameron. Abe and Lexie appear confused. Celeste excitedly takes him by the hand and introduces Cameron as Lexie's brother. Lexie is flabbergasted. Celeste elaborates. He is her half brother and his father took him away when he was only five years old. It was too painful to tell anyone how she had lost him, so she did not. They only just recently reconnected. Lexie is not sure what to say. Cameron grins they met once and shows her the old photograph of the two of them with Celeste. Lexie is amazed, but points out this was when she believed Celeste was her aunt. Celeste now has many regrets about hiding the truth back then. Cameron wants sister Lexie to have the picture, which was in his dad's stuff. Celeste informs her that her brother too is a doctor. Lexie unhappily turns away, overwhelmed. Abe introduces himself and explains to the now confused Cameron that they just received some news that is tough to process. He is certain Lexie will want to get to know him when the time is right. Lexie gasps it was nice meeting him and departs with Abe. Cameron wonders what he interrupted. Celeste woefully hands him Lexie's file. He stares down at it in dismay ... - When Daniel eventually returns to his office, he is surprised to find Celeste alone, reading the cards. She already knew something terrible was coming. They warned her and the cards never lie ... - At the Carver house, the sitter has put Theo down to bed. Lexie is crying. Abe asks sweetheart if there is anything he can do. She holds him close and calls it the best medicine in the world. "We'll get through this," he promises, and hugs her, shutting his eyes in torment. - Ian is sorry for hurting Kate all those years ago. She retorts she got over it. He admits he did not and it was hard to watch her walk away, knowing that he would never have her again. She murmurs that in her experience, never is not necessarily forever. In fact, never can be subject to change. They kiss on the lips .... - John and Hope eventually open the door to a very impatient Stefano, pretending they were in the middle of something. They are in character as Gina and the Pawn, so as to dupe him. The phoenix wants an update on the egg, then suddenly finds the copy of the Salem newspaper front page. What the hell is going on ...!
