The Truth Shall Set You Free ...

- At the trendy Coffee House, new model Gabi shows Abigail all the
good feedback she and Chad are getting on the Countess W webpage. Fans say they are a great couple! Abi reminds her Mel and Chad are the couple. Mel and Chad now enter the Coffee House and Abigail calls
them the cute couple. "Not for long!" haughtily mutters Gabi. The four
are soon sitting together. Chad cannot keep his hands off Mel. He is also sorry for what he heard about Abigail. She regrets her lie about sleeping with Austin and cannot believe some of the stuff she did. She loved him and still does. Mel assures her it will pass and then she will find her Mr. Right. Abigail wistfully looks down.
- Nicole and Rafe meet Dr. Dan in his office with the news that EJ knows she is pregnant. Therefore, they have decided to claim Rafe is the father. Shocked Dan is not surprised he wants a paternity test. Nicole insists the truth remain a secret as she is not letting EJ near her baby! Dan becomes exasperated and warns Rafe this could wreak havoc. Rafe reasons it is
the only way to deal with EJ. Nicole wants Rafe to think hard about it. If he changes his mind, she will understand. He insists he will not change his mind, because he knows EJ will try to get the child if he knows it is his. He is only too glad to repay the favor of ruining his happiness. Nicole accepts his explanation. Dan has a consult and urges them to call should they need anything. Nicole thanks him. She is overwhelmed by Rafe's commitment but ponders disappearing. Rafe quips EJ already knows she is pregnant. They just need Daniel to help them change the paternity test! Nicole dramatically disagrees, for he has done enough already and could lose his license. They have to come up with an alternative plan. Rafe
grins mischievously.
- Carrie and Austin are together at the pub. He is thrilled they are back as a couple and suggests they find a house, which would also be big enough for kids. Carrie gets pale. "Kids?" He wonders what she might be waiting for. She makes a face and wonders why he would bring that up today.
He takes it back. She points out they really need to take things slow.
One step at a time. He agrees and promises not to make any more mistakes. Carrie states they both made mistakes and now the time has come to move on together. They ought to rent, since her income has not been great. Austin was thinking the same thing and even found a place.
He shows her the pic of a little house that looks like their Swiss chalet. It is close to the university and there is plenty of room  ... "For kids," she sighs. She is sure he will be a wonderful father, like when he believed
Will was his son. He assures her he is willing to simply focus on them for the time being. Babies change everything, after all. The pub door opens. Enter Rafe and Nicole. Carrie stares at Rafe and repeats babies do change everything!
- Marlena finds Will outside the café and would like to talk about that last thing he said. He would rather not. She thinks he could use some help.
He admits he just became tired of fighting the truth. "I'm gay." And he
will not take it back this time! He nods decidedly. "I'm gay." Marlena places an arm around him and informs him the sky did not fall and she
still loves him with all her heart. Family hug! Will thanks her and is sorry he lost his temper earlier. No apologies necessary. She is just thrilled he could finally admit his real feelings. He muses it must have been obvious to everyone. She is exquisitely proud of him and calls him brave. They soon enjoy coffee and desert at the café and she wonders how he feels. Emancipated. He repeats he is gay, homosexual. Marlena giggles. He
adds that some of his dreams and plans are gone, so now what?
- At the Carver house, Celeste has driven for hours to tell Abe and Lexie that according to her trusted tarot cards, daughter Lexie is in very grave danger! Lexie acknowledges she has been having headaches, but the doc said she is fine. Celeste, still visibly upset, is not satisfied. Abe has heard enough of the hocus pocus and accuses her of spooking his wife. She gasps if Alexandra does not heed her warnings and get help, she could
die! Lexie sighs they have not seen her for months. She is sorry for that but insists they heed the warning of the tarot cards. She implores Abe to believe that her daughter, whom she loves very much, needs tests. Lexie exclaims she is a doctor and knows one day will make no difference. Abe suggests they just get it over with, to prove she will be fine. Lexie goes along. Celeste wants to accompany them. Mother and daughter embrace.
- Back at the Coffee House, Mel and Chad are at their own table, playing checkers and kissing. Across at her table, Gabi quips people are writing things online about Melanie too, then feigns a gasp. "Oh no!" Mel wants
to take a look and reads something that horrifies her. Chad asks what is the matter. Mel laments someone maliciously outed her as the infamous premier party girl who used to have a video blog. They have called her a slut, among other things. Chad  growls those are lies and he will not have his girlfriend being trashed anonymously. Mel confesses they are not necessarily lies ...
- At the hospital, Lexie, Celeste, and Abe meet with Daniel. The lab is all set up. Dr. Dan takes patient Lexie with him. Abe grimaces at Celeste.
- At the pub, Carrie advises Austin to accept that call from his mother.
He steps away for a moment. Rafe goes to fetch himself and Nicole menus. He gingerly approaches Carrie, who is now sitting alone. There
is something he wants to tell her ...
