When the Going Gets Tough Part 2 Sami updates Lucas on trying to motivate Stefano to get the evidence the Salem P.D. has against their son. The phoenix has someone on the inside. Lucas suggests EJ do it and is surprised to hear that even EJ does not know the identity of the mole. Sami admits she would make a deal with the devil to help their son. Lucas thinks it is a mistake, for she will end up indebted to the DiMeras. Sami knows. She asks him to now bring Ally back to her brother and sister. He wants to know how long she will have to stay here. She is unsure, as she has to build a relationship with Stefano. Will is going to have to be around here too. Lucas loathes the idea, but agrees to bring Ally tomorrow. Sami hopes he will not tell anyone, especially not mama Kate. Lucas promises to keep his silence. They glance at Stefano's portrait and he drawls Nick is not even going see it coming! Once Lucas has gone, Sami gets ready. She is lighting the candles to their romantic dinner when EJ arrives. She coyly welcomes him home. There is no special date and he is baffled. Did she actually cook? She ordered his favorites from Chez Rouge. He chuckles in relief "Wot is the occasion?" Sexy jazz music plays as she insists she just wanted to be nice. EJ takes her hands, kisses her on the head, and teases he knows she must have done something bad. She denies the charge. He pulls her down on his lap and continues to kiss and seduce her. Resistance is futile. He coos and asks what she did. Sami stands up and tells him of having to confide in Lucas about their plan to enlist Stefano's help. EJ is exasperated. Now Nick will find out! Sami insists Lucas would not tell him. EJ, however, very much doubts he will keep his mouth shut for the DiMeras ... Dan does not understand. Jen throws her necklace at him and yells to take it. Dan picks up the sapphire necklace and vows to keep it and to see her. She snaps she is quitting. She does not wish to see him again and cries to stay away from her. Exit Jen. Dan's mouth drops open in shock. Maggie is sorry. Dan now realizes that a crowd was watching and walks away hanging his head. Black widow Chloe smiles a triumphant smile. Abigail and Chad observe Cam buying coffee and wonder why he is carrying a concealed weapon. Chad wonders if they broke up cos she was a virgin. Abigail calls him a jackass. They hide behind the Horton plaque when Cam emerges. The double shift doctor is headed for the parking lot. Chad's bike is in the ally and so the pursuit will continue on wheels. Chloe later walks into the apartment, where Dan is sitting before the fire with Jen's necklace, staring into space. She acts sympathetic, and explains she saw. She sits down in her tight black mini and is sorry. Dan is devastated. So is Jen, who is crying all alone on the stairs at Horton house. Maggie knocks on the front door. She demands to know what is the matter with her! Jen opens the door and gasps she feels unwell. She had tried to tell Daniel that she was still mourning Jack. Maggie can relate, though she had no excuse for ripping her son to shreds. Jen laments he would not listen. The redhead accuses Jennifer Rose of public humiliation. She was kind and sweet until now! Now she behaved in a heartless and cruel manner. Maggie quips she broke her heart along with Daniel's. It is unforgivable! Nick is sitting alone on a bench, staring at new bride Gabi's picture on his phone. He wants to keep his new bride safe but Vargas is here! He mutters there has to be a way ... "A way to what!" growls confrontational Lucas. Chad fixes his messed helmet hair as he and Abigail confer outside the busy club where Cam must have gone. They go in together and Abigail looks around. Cam is nowhere to be seen. Women are waiting, seated at tables. The two sleuths cannot imagine what comes next! Abigail complains she cannot find Cam as Chad realizes this club is full of women only. Except for the toned and tanned waiters. Chad wonders whether Cam is a waiter. Abigail thinks that would be absurd for he is a doctor. The lights come on the stage. A tall man slowly dances and suggestively removes his boxing gloves, grinning at the crowd. The women scream. Tis Cam, doctor by day, hot dancer by night! Sami believes Lucas will say nothing. EJ doubts it and warns it will be hard to protect her from Stefano if he finds out the real reason they are at the mansion. Sami exclaims she violated her custody agreement with Lucas and had no choice but to tell him the truth. EJ snaps to use her head before opening her mouth next time. They yell and scream at each other until he grabs her in a passionate kiss. Chloe claims she wanted to tell off Jen. She offers to help. Dan throws open the door and tells her to get out! Chloe points out Jen was bitchy ... Dan rages not to talk about her like that! Chloe is sorry. Dan shuts the door with a sigh. It is not her fault. Chloe does not want him to believe Jen. He is a good man who knows what love is. Dan suddenly takes Chloe's face in his hands and kisses her, in a desperate attempt to ease his pain ... Ahead on Days of Our Lives Chad and Abigail digest what they have seen. Nicole is upset about the possibility of Eric leaving Salem. |
