He thinks she should be afraid. Billie argues he has done nothing to harm her and concludes that he must still be considering her offer. He airily asks why he should bother. To find out what Stefano has been up to and why he is keeping him in the dark! EJ makes a snide remark about her lipstick wars. She insists she is still a good investigator. EJ once more questions her motives. She claims Stefano hurt her mother and should pay. Is he in or out! EJ crosses his arms and cannot believe she would think he would betray his fatha. Billie reminds him he has been kept out of the loop so his loyalty is misguided. He drawls he wishes he could say it has been a pleasure. Before he leaves, Billie gives him something to think about. She informs him that Carrie and Rafe were tipped off with information that was given to them by an unlikely source and that is how they then proved John's innocence. Someone pointed them in the right direction. EJ feigns disinterest. Billie suggests he ask his father how they managed to exonerate John! EJ blinks. - The text message to John warns to return what rightfully belongs to the sender or else they will lose someone they love! It is anonymous and the gang deduce it is from Stefano. Marlena laments nothing has changed. John wants to protect the women folk until they can bring Stefano in. Bo now suggests he might even try to turn them into Gina and the Pawn again! John drawls the man will not give up until he gets his precious coin. Bo muses they need to find out what it means. John wants to get in touch with Roman for protection. Bo wants to send Ciara to his mother's to stay safe. Marlena wonders if they are overreacting. John reasons the phoenix just warned them that someone is going to die! - At the town square, Lucas boasts to Will and Ally what a great gymnast teenager Sami was. Will realizes she gave it up after she got pregnant with him. Lucas teases there are pictures he can show them of her as a gymnast. Sami adds there are also pics of Lucas in his military uniform. Would they like to see? Will stands up and laments things will never be like that again anyway. He decides to get Ally a berry smoothie, then take her to grandma's for food. He is glad his father is staying in town and smiles at him. Once the kids have gone, Sami sighs that Will does not like to be around her. Lucas points out he stayed so that is not the case. Sami is glad Lucas is back and they share a hug. Lucas is glad to be back too. He promises to do what he can to help her with their son. She sincerely thanks him for staying and listening and never giving up on her. Lucas grins it was his pleasure and kisses her on the cheek. Their eyes lock. They now get closer and kiss passionately. Sami's nail polish matches the color of his shirt. - After John gets off the phone with Roman, he and Marlena take their leave. Bo wants time alone with his beautiful wife and starts to kiss her. Outside, Marlena wonders if it is too much getting round the clock protection from Roman, John drawls this time things are different. He senses the phoenix has reached the end of his chess game and is utterly desperate to win! He takes her arm and they walk off together, unaware that a sinister man with a black beard is tailing them. Inside, Bo sits on the sofa and starts to plant kisses on his wife. She wonders if the doctor would approve, He murmurs he needs only her approval. She giggles and removes her jacket. They continue kissing, unaware that they are being watched through the window. - As John aggressively walks through the gate, still working his phone, Marlena suggests she go to the market. John disagrees as he wants to get her home fast. All of a sudden, the sinister bearded man grabs her from behind, placing a knife to her throat. John shakes his head and takes a step forward, calmly asking what he wants. The bad guy leers at our hero to stop right there. "Tell me where the coin is or the pretty lady's DEAD ...!" END |
