She reminds Chad he has a shirtless photo shoot with her on this day. Chad explains it was cancelled and he knows not when they will work together again. Gabi looks ready to pass out when Chad informs her that due to executive changes, Countess W has put things on hold, and will be re-assessing their media strategy. He grins he is taking Mel to Chicago and even snagged them a romantic place by the lake. Mel gushes she got the time off work. Gabi claims she hopes that they will have fun. She gets a strange look in her eye as Chad makes a comment about maybe not coming back and kisses his girl. - Dr. Yu catches up with Dr. Dan, and has agreed with his prognosis. In fact, the patient only has weeks, months at best, she now tells him. Dan is determined to examine every angle and solemnly asks her to send him her files for review. - EJ calls Stefano a cold man who tortures his family. Lexie jumps up and yells to stop. She collapses in Abe's arms when she gets another headache. Abe scolds the men for upsetting her. Stefano reminds his daughter she is a DiMera and should not give up. He stammers this was wrong and should not have happened to her before he woefully walks away, hanging his head. Abe takes Lexie to sit back down. Flunky Will approaches EJ and whispers is everything alright? EJ growls no, and if he had followed his orders and kept tabs on Nicole, he would know that! Will has an excuse, as he had a class. EJ is not interested. But he has another job for him and it concerns hacking into hospital records. Will smirks he can do that. EJ now explains what he wants him to do ... - Rafe sits at Nicole's bedside and holds her hand, assuring her that they will take her precious baby for walks. He knows she will be so happy with her healthy baby and will have everything she always dreamed of. Nicole smiles and falls asleep. Rafe gives her a sympathetic glance. - Abigail offers psychic Celeste her condolences over Lexie. Celeste encourages her to sit down and offers to read her tarot cards. Abigail is thrilled. Celeste sees a connection to her father. But then she sees a flirtation with an older man. The cards show it was not in her future. Abigail's eyes flicker. - EJ apologizes to Lexie for his outburst with fatha. She gasps she has no room in her life for petty family drama anymore. Cameron comes along and she makes the introductions. EJ acts cordial with her other brother Cameron, though it takes him by surprise. Cameron has come back to see Dr. Yu and find out more about what is going on. Lexie thanks him with a hug and promises to spend more time with him soon. Abe walks off with Cameron to also talk to Dr. Yu. EJ once more apologizes for upsetting his sister. She reminds him that he is the mayor and should act accordingly. Besides, what is going on between him and their father? EJ hugs her, though he has no answer. - Stefano returns to the mansion alone, picks up a photo of Lexie, and fights back the tears. He remembers the doctor's words that the toxic gas might have caused her tumor and drops the picture.The glass cracks. - Rafe and Dan confer in Nicole's room as she sleeps. Dan warns him that EJ is still demanding the paternity test when she is far enough along. Meanwhile, Nicole dreams of being happy with EJ as they enjoy their baby. Her life now has meaning. He asks sweetheart if she could have one more thing to make her life perfect. They kiss in the dream. Rafe now sits at her bedside, as Dan has gone. - Dr. Yu pleasantly provides Cameron with the files he has requested. Once he walks out, Abe wonders what exactly she told Stefano, who apparently wanted to know what caused his daughter's tumor. - Gabi puts on her best scared expression and rushes up to Chad and Mel before they can leave. She pretends to panic that that someone left a headless barbie at her door, with a note saying she was next! - Celeste sees a card that troubles her with crossed swords, but does not tell Abigail. The girl starts to leave as Cameron returns. They chat and decide they will catch up later. When her son sits down, Celeste warns him to stay away from the girl, for there is an aura of danger surrounding her ...! - Nicole is dreaming of smiling at her baby to tell daddy they love him. In the dream EJ suddenly morphs into Rafe. Nicole wakes up with a start and exclaims to Rafe "It's you!" - EJ helps Lexie to a seat. Will returns and boss EJ quietly asks if he got anything. Not yet but he is close. EJ orders him to get back to it and they walk down the hall together. - Abe has just learned that Lexie's tumor might have been caused by the kind of gasses in the tunnels where she was once held prisoner. As EJ and Will arrive, he growls that if Stefano caused this, "I swear to God, I'll kill him!" EJ has overheard and appears horrified that Lexie might be dying because of what their father did once upon a time ... END |
