She gloats she has a great home, a great place, and four wonderful children, whereas Nicole has no money to even support that baby she is carrying. Nicole snaps she did not deserve that CEO job, as she did not deserve Rafe. One day he will have a loving wife and baby she deserves. Sami does not miss a beat and notices it sounds like Rafe is not the father of Nicole's baby. She would like to know whose bun really is in her oven! Nicole insists it is his, but Sami now has her doubts. Why else would she say Rafe deserves to have children some day? Nicole claims she is busy and must now go sell her lousy Countess W stock, which she is sure will hit rock bottom. She storms out. Sami sips her coffee and considers. - Lucas returns to Sami and updates her on Lexie dying. She thinks that is awful. So does he and it makes him realize how unpredictable life is. He does not ever want anything to happen to her or the kids! They sit on the sofa and she assures him they are fine. He warns her that his mom has a price on her head but he will not let anything happen to her! She wonders what he means. He has her back and is accepting her offer. Sami throws her arms around him and insists it is the best decision of his life. Lucas just hopes she will not make him regret it ... - EJ wants a word with his sister before she catches up with Abe. He asks Lexie how much time they have. "Not enough," she whispers. He holds her and kisses her head as she cries. A lone tear trickles down his cheek and he closes his eyes. He gives her kleenex and wonders how to help. Can he call Chad for her? She sniffles she would rather tell him in person. He thinks she is amazing but she is not so sure. He sadly adds she does not deserve this. She sighs no one would. However, some things happen for no reason at all. She breaks down again. - Hope lies in Bo's arms and cries about Lexie. She does not want to believe it. How could this happen to someone like her? It is so unfair! Bo has no answers. Hope now cries for Abe and Theo. Bo sighs. John and Marlena enter and update them on Abe's sorrow. Bo wants to go home and see Ciara, but will have to wait for the doctor. The couples hold each other after John wisely notes this makes one not take loved ones or life for granted. John and Marlena exchange I love yous. - Nicole walks along the town square, flashing back to happier times with EJ, when they got engaged. She sees a sign about renovations for the children, with EJ DiMera's name as mayor at the bottom, and suddenly gets a pain in her stomach. She clutches her stomach and cries out. - Dr. Yu explains to Stefano that the inoperable tumor could have been from unusually high quantities of a toxic gas. It is found in plants and factories, or in the underground tunnels of Salem. Stefano mutters to himself in Italian that it is not possible. He soon regains his composure and asks the doctor to repeat what the cause was. She repeats the tumor could have developed from an exposure to a highy toxic gas found in underground tunnels, though it is difficult to be certain, Stefano now turns away. "It can't be my fault," he mutters to himself. Abe stops in his tracks and stares. "What did you say ...?!" END |
