He stands up and mentions their date last night being nice. She coyly puts the papers down and he drawls he had a great time. It felt different. He flatters her shamelessly. Nicole flashes a pearly white smile. Vargas smugly states some guys looked jealous of him. She giggles maybe they were jealous of her. Vargas now explains he owes her for that amazing time. He knows someone like him is not good enough for someone like her. She does not want him to put himself down and says so. That seems to be just what the former felon wants to hear. He wonders if she would see him again. He pretends to be tongue tied, then gets closer and kisses her on the lips. Lonely Nicole returns his kiss. They have no idea that Sami is fast approaching ...! Kate and Rafe walk and talk by the town gate, where she woefully apologizes. He is curious what she is sorry for and suspects she still feels she did the right thing. Kate admittedly regrets going to Gabi, yet Rafe is really only upset that she did not share it with him. She took time and planned this out behind his back. She points out her lawyer was involved, though Rafe remains suspicious. He reminds her of her illustrious history of twisting the truth around. He also righteously reminds her that they recently ended their relationship. He bitterly wonders whether her coming back to his bed was then part of her plan to get his sister to sign! Kate’s eyes are filled with hurt. She exclaims once a whore always a whore. Of course, she has no heart, no feelings for anyone! She sobs she has no feelings for a guy like him and storms off. Rafe closes his eyes and sighs. That did not go well. Chloe notes their suspicious stares and admits to Dan and Jen that she understands their concerns. Dan growls she shall not come between them. He places a possessive arm around Sailor Moon Jen. Chloe now claims she desires only to apologize. She is sorry she took advantage of Dan’s good nature and is sorry she used their son. She explains she was misguided and crossed the line. She calls her behavior sick and insists she knows she is not well. Jen questions her sincerity. Chloe removes her leather jacket and continues. She realizes her words ring hollow but there is more. She now announces she has actions to add. She has come to a decision for them, and especially for Parker! Seedy Sy leaves an impatient message for his messenger, who seems to have disappeared. He is desperate for an update! The appearance of Brady and Victor interrupts Kristen, who explains this was just delivered. Brady puts the envelope down. Victor wants to talk about the mugging. Brady admits the cops believed they had a break though it is not a top priority. Victor offers to call and make it a top priority. Brady would rather do it himself and exits the room. Kristen sits primly and notes the Greek tycoon is protective, He grumbles he wants justice and wonders why she orchestrated this meeting. What did she want to say to him? She insists she is only here for Brady. This was his idea. Victor warns he will not allow his grandson to be hurt. Kristen accuses him of hurting Brady by cutting him out earlier. He retorts he intends to fix that. Kristen wishes people would stop disappearing on Brady. He remarks she was asking too much, assuming John or Marlena would accept her. In fact, he could disappear too. He flashes back to Maggie wondering whether Kristen was out to prove he was out to get her. Back to reality. Victor acts like he is willing to try. The envelope nearby, Kristen assures him she will change his mind about her. He warns her he has a good eye. She claims so does she. Victor drawls he will be sticking around no matter how she tries to trip him up. Brady saunters back and explains the mugger seems to have gone underground, there has been no sign of him. He and his lady love are ready to get to the art. Ring ring! Tis none other than seedy Sy, who insists Victor needs to see something! Kristen and Brady get to work, the damning envelope still resting on the glass table before them. Victor quips it is a bad time. Sy insists he sent someone ... Victor cuts him off not to bother him now and ends the call, claiming it was a telemarketer. He then lifts up the recently delivered envelope, ready to check out precisely what it is ...!
