Nicole decides she should give them their privacy, Nicole takes off as Sami stands there with her box. EJ wants to know WOT the hell she is doing there. Kate made her return all her Countess W products. She drops the box and notes he was friendlier when she was drying his shirt. Does he want to talk about it? Negative. Sami informs him she called the plumber but EJ is otherwise preoccupied. - Marlena does not approve of John rejoining the ISA. He explains something big is going to happen and he is determined to help bring him down. She argues they are not safe. John points out the man will be getting a life sentence without parole if this time they succeed, hence his involvement. - At the town square café, Nicole sits down at Rafe's table and remarks he looks lousy. He woefully updates her on how he almost told Carrie, how hurt she is. Nicole advises him to tell Carrie the truth about their relationship, for she hates to see him this way. She will be fine. Rafe drawls he intends to keep his promise to her. Besides, Carrie is back with Austin and it would be too risky if word got out. Therefore, that baby she is carrying is his. "Now and forever!" He opens the paper to the job listings. She assures him he does not need to support her and the baby. Rafe keeps looking anyway. - Billie gives the Brady family their privacy. Ciara hopes she will soon be able to show daddy her double dutch skills. Hope promises he will be home soon, good and strong, and playing with her. Once he is home, she will never leave again. She hugs her daughter tight. - Sami is allowed to remove her hands from her eyes at the apartment and discovers the kids have been building a campsite, along with a tent, with fun Lucas. Indoors, of course, since camping is not Sami's thing. She thanks them. Lucas hopes she will be able to forget the first half of her day. Sami smiles a genuine smile. The children excitedly show her the nature pictures they have made. They enjoy eating at the fake campfire. Sami thanks Lucas for making her laugh. She assumes he is also thinking of calling his future bride and pleasantly tells him to go do it. Lucas is sure they will get along famously. Sami returns to the kids, relaxed and happy. - Billie and Spencer catch up on the phone. The experts are working on the coin and cracking the code. Meantime Spencer wants to know more about these so-called secret DiMera files. She is ready to go back, to have another look for the proof. He warns her to be careful that junior does not catch her. Billie will not be intimidated. She will not let those DiMeras hurt anyone she loves again, danger be damned! - EJ glares at Stefano's somber portrait and scrambles on the phone, to find out where the money went. No luck ... - Carrie drops her bag at the coffee house. John picks it up for her. She is thrilled to see he is back. He steps away to take a call. Marlena notices she seems upset. They sit and discuss. Carrie explains that she is doing everything possible to save her marriage. Marlena asks about Rafe. Carrie laments he is having a baby with Nicole. So much for him being a good guy. Marlena first assumes it is a joke, and is then shocked. Carrie confesses she is still unable to forget about Rafe regardless. She catches herself and decides she should not have said that. Marlena notes she still cares for Rafe. She just wants her to be happy. Carrie claims she is. John returns and hugs his favorite stepdaughter. He would like them to catch up. She quips she must take a raincheck, smiles she will see them soon, and departs. John is concerned. Marlena thinks she will be fine. She now wonders what the agency said. They already have another agent on the ground, trying to find the missing pension funds. Marlena hopes he will not put his life on the line anymore by getting involved in the dangerous DiMera case. "Don't do that to us!" - Billie creeps into the mansion. She calls out for EJ. There is no answer so she gets right to the cache of secret files after pushing the button. But it is empty! EJ comes up behind her and smugly holds up a black folder. "Looking for this, Billie!" - Back at the hospital, Bo sleeps on. Hope is desperate for a sign that he will return to her. She loves him. She lies down beside him and holds his hand. A moment passes. Bo slowly covers her hand with his. Hope sits up and smiles at him. "Bo!" she exclaims. "Brady!" END |
