Part 2 Abigail appeals to the bouncer to let her go backstage, for she has something very important to tell Apollo! No luck. She suddenly jumps on stage, and proceeds to dance with the current dancer. Chad frowns at his floundering friend and goes to Anne’s table, claiming he knows her from the coffee house. He sits and orders the drunken woman shots. They toast to loyal customers. Sloshed Anne sways in her seat and wonders if she knows that girl on stage. Meanwhile Cam is clad in his cop costume, ready to go on. Abigail manages to stagger backstage to him but he ignores her pleas and struts onstage, his face partially concealed by his hat. Caroline giggles she thinks she knows him. Abigail now returns to Chad and Anne, who has passed out. Onstage, Cam starts to unbutton his shirt, then stops and stares. He makes for the table, surprised by what happened, but relieved that Anne did not see him. Chad walks the staggering schemer out to take her home. She has no idea of who is who. Abigail primly bids Cam a goodnight. He stops her, insisiting they need to talk. At the pub, Gabi is surprised Nick did not mention someone from prison was also is in Salem. Nicole explains he just arrived for their program. Nick explains he was surprised too. Gabi gets to work. Vargas calls Nick an inspiration, since he has a wife and a new baby on the way. They shake hands. Gabi watches from a distance. EJ mentions the DiMeras digging up dirt on Nick. Sonny is not sure it will work but Sami insists they will triumph. EJ tells them of his own pain after losing a child he did not even know existed. He is totally committed to helping Will. He roguishly adds he and Samantha are not going to break up anytime soon. He intends to make an honest woman of her soon! Will chuckles. Sonny wishes he could do something to help and reminds them of his recent offer. Sami will let him know if they feel him breaking into Nick’s room is necessary. For now, he should just focus on being there for Will. Sonny is pleased to oblige. Sami now adds they should all make sure Nick does not suspect a thing. He is not going to see it coming ...! Chloe sadly sits down and shares that when she scolds Parker and then apologizes, she sees he has Dan’s eyes. The difference is, he always forgives his mommy. Dan acknowledges he will always need his mommy. Chloe remarks he would forgive her for taking him away from daddy but that is something she will not do, even though she cannot have his daddy’s love. She laments she knows she was wrong. It upsets her that she stopped being a good mother when she schemed to win Dan back. He assures her she will be a good mother again. She agrees, and she now knows what she really wants! He wonders what that means. That she will live her life to do what is best for Parker. At the moment, she is in no shape to decide anything, though. Dan refuses to let his son out of his sight tonight. Chloe understands and suggests they talk in the morning. She claims to understand when Dan forewarns her he will consult with Justin on how to establish paternity. He suggests she kiss Parker goodnight but she does not think she can face her son right now and woefully walks out. Dan breathes a sigh of relief, believing the worst is over. Vargas pretends to not know Nick well when Nicole pries. Back at the bar, Gabi asks Nick how well he knows that guy. She is sure she saw him with Hope and Father Eric but he must be alright if he was with them. Nick agrees and Gabi goes to hand them the check. Vargas takes it and steps away to pay at the bar. Gabi is about to clear the table. Nicole smiles, wondering how she is doing. At the bar, Vargas reminds Killer to come up with a way to make his money grow. When Nick warns him to stay away from his wife. Vargas leers he has no interest in his old lady. If he does as he promised, he will be fine! He saunters off and Nick gets a strange look in his eye. EJ sees Sami into the mansion and she teases him about the honest woman comment. He teases she sounds surprised. She is. He points out he has made no secret of the fact that he sees marriage to her in the future. She hopes he is not doing this because of Will. EJ charmingly drawls he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He smiles and kisses her, much to Sami’s delight. Back at the rectory, Nicole thanks Vargas for the evening. She had fun. So did he. He now hands her a little box of dessert. She clumsily drops it and they crouch down in unison to pick it up. Their eyes lock. She whispers thanks. He stands up and saunters out. Nicole bites her lip. At the coffee house, Will works at his computer as Sonny pours the coffee. They clasp hands. A song about life worth living with you, feeling like home is heard. At the mansion, Sami and EJ are in bed together. At the rectory, Nicole opens Vargas' sweet dessert and takes a lick. Vargas turns off the light in his room and settles into bed. At the pub, Nick lights a candle and kisses Gabi. They dance together in the empty pub. The music fades away. At the club, Cam just wanted to say ...Abigail snaps to shut up and stop complaining or she will deck him! She and Chad cared about him and he lied to them! He claims he did not. She notes he kept a secret from them and did not even trust her. Therefore, Officer Nightstick has only himself to blame! She storms out in a huff. Cam the lover man sighs. Dan holds Parker on his lap as the lad plays with his stuffed bunny. Dan yearns to call Jen, cos he has much to say to the woman he loves! He gets her voice mail, gushes there are some things a lady needs to hear in a real conversation, and calls again. Meanwhile Chloe sits all alone at the town square and cries as she looks at pictures of herself, Dan, and Parker on her phone. She almost deletes one but then has a change of heart. She declares she now knows what she must do, her earrings shining through the darkness behind her ... END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Chloe has a big announcement. Kate is unhappy about Rafe. Nicole is too trusting of Vargas. |
