ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Link Only! SINISTER Wednesday, September 2, 2015 Episode 12,668 Beware of copycats. These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the police station Rafe points out to Hope that the DNA left on the cocktail napkin is not on their database. It has led to no suspect so far ... Meanwhile Chad is at the club, remembering the last time he saw Serena. For some strange reason he cannot remember more. He starts to leave when a reporter tries to record his reaction to the fact that he was the last one to see Serena alive. A cop blocks his path and informs him Detective Hernandez wants a word at the station. Chad feels he has no choice ... Paige leaves JJ's voice mail a very nervous message about the police wanting to talk to her. She fears it is about JJ and Kyle and what is she supposed to say ...? Meanwhile Jump Street JJ wakes up with a mother of a headache in Kyle's now empty apartment. He makes for the door but Clyde is there. He roughly sends him flying back to the sofa. JJ is confused cos Kyle is gone. Clyde ominously states he will not bother him again. JJ spies blood on the floor and wonders where he went. Clyde cackles he sent him where bad guys eventually go. JJ is horrified he killed him. Clyde claims he takes care of business and considers himself a businessman. JJ proceeds to promise not to breathe a word to anyone but Clyde tells him to shut up. He sits and stares him down, demanding he tell him the truth. He leers he will know if he is lying. Is he workin for the cops ...?? ... Paige is with Rafe at the station, relieved he is merely meeting with all people who were at the club the night Serena was killed. She cooperates fully and explains how she saw Chad running after Serena, who was running out as she arrived. Chad was staggering at the time. The detective is interested in details. Paige the science student states he had a cut lip that was bleeding. Rafe's eyes widen ... Hope joins Kayla at her hospital office. Caroline is in fine form ready for release. Hope asks about Steve, what his intentions are. Kayla would rather not talk about him and wonders whether Hope has accepted Aiden's proposal. Not so far. Hope believes it was beautiful but sensed there was something rather rushed about it ... Attorney Aiden is extremely anxious on his office phone with a certain someone. He promises to make it happen with Hope soon ... Lucas' heart is aflutter when he finds Adrienne outside the Kiriakis mansion. He was hoping for a waffle lunch together but she tells him she already ate. Lucas now convinces the reluctant runner to meet him at the park at three o'clock to start training for a mini-triathalon. His talented trainer will be there ... Later Kayla has her son Joey in the office and gets off the phone with his school principal, peeved he was expelled. The troubled teen tells her he does not care and she orders him to put down that phone. Just then Steve arrives bearing flowers and a goofy grin. He suggests lunch together. Kayla looks ready to explode. Patchman still gets to her ... At the hospital, Hope is at fully dressed Caroline's side. The matriarch reacts strongly when Hope smiles Aden asked her to marry him. She gasps she had a nightmare about Bo that she believes was very real. He is in trouble. Hope tenderly tells her Bo left her and is not coming back but promises to take her time deciding ... Paige heads to Horton house and updates Jen on Eve blowing JJ's cover to Kyle. The womenfolk worry. Where oh where could JJ be??? ... JJ stammers no cops and claims Eve lied to Kyle to cause trouble. Clyde wants to know why. He stares at him close up like a snake. JJ hangs his head and tells the truth about sleeping with his girlfriend's mama, who then went nuts on him. Clyde is both amused and impressed and laughs I'LL BE DAMNED ... Rafe stares down Chad in his office as he makes small talk. He makes light of asking for a DNA sample. Chad has nothing to hide so he agrees ... Steve and Kayla start to argue about whether or not Joey being expelled is a big deal. Steve does not think the boarding school was the way to go. Kayla snaps he was an absentee father for so long, what was she supposed to do? Joey begs his arguing folks to STOP ... JJ continues to play Clyde by including truths among his lies. He complains Kyle was dumb enough to believe Eve when she accused him of working for the cops. Clyde's eyes narrow. If Kyle was so dumb why did JJ work for him? For the money. JJ promises SIR he will not tell a soul anything. Clyde now makes him an offer he can't refuse ... JJ's new job! Rafe returns to Chad with the news that his blood was a match with the blood on the cocktail napkin. Chad now admits Serena slapped him after he grabbed her in a kiss. He walked out after her and must have thrown down the napkin in his drunken stupor. Rafe is suspicious but goes by the book as Roman had ordered .. Chad insists after leaving the club he checked into the Salem Inn. Hernandez, however, has done his homework. He knows for a fact that Chad only checked into the Salem Inn at DAWN. What he wants to know is where he was from the time he left the club to the time he checked in hours later cos that is when the killer struck ... Victor and Maggie rally around Caroline at the hospital. When Maggie gets condescending about having to accept Aiden in Hope's life and sweetly suggests she help her convince Victor, Caroline gets cross. She and Victor are on the same page and in her view it is Maggie who would need convincing. Victor victoriously wheels her away and Maggie sighs ... Joe tells his parents he hates that his mom sent him to that school and hates that his dad made him come back to Salem. Then he splits. Steve does not want his boy to go through this again. He vows to fix things for their family one way or another and heads out after leaving Kayla with the flowers. He knows it will take time ... Hope stands surrounded by the pretty flowers of the Salem park and remembers once upon a time when she and Bo were friends and lovers and then husband and wife. So much romance, sailing around the world ... Then she remembers the unanswered messages, her decision to move on, believing Bo would never be back. Her eyes fill with tears of torment as she remembers telling his photograph she would forever love him ... Chad stammers he did not remember well but went for a walk. D.A. Justin enters and wants to know whether the detective has booked him yet. Detective and D.A. step out to discuss ... After JJ agrees to the new job, Clyde issues JJ a horrific threat lest he dare go against him. He would go after that pretty girlfriend first and then his momma. And he is NOT to ever tell his boy Ben about what he does. JJ plays along and promises to go by the book. That is, the book of Clyde. Clyde grins he will have someone get in touch with him and leaves. Jump Street JJ rushes home ... Anxious Aiden catches up with Hope at the square and suavely suggests lunch. She sighs she has to go to the station and he passionately kisses her in public. Patchman stops and stares. Hope stops and nervously makes the intros, explaining Steve is Bo's friend. When she scurries off Steve casually convinces Aiden to have a cup of coffee at the club for a conversation. He lets him know he happens to be Bo's best friend from way back, starting with his merchant marine days. He informs Aiden that he has known them both a long time and believes Bo and Hope were and ARE soulmates. Aiden argues Bo left and Hope deserves better. Steve gives him an intense soap stare without blinking his blue eye. He senses something is amiss ... Justin lets Rafe know he wants a WIN against the DiMera. Rafe would need more evidence. The career-driven Kiriakis orders him to make it happen. Rafe grimaces ... Rafe now calls Hope with the news of the blood matching Chad. She sincerely hopes this is not personal for him given his history with Chad. Rafe believes he is above that. Hope admits she is feeling the pressure ... Lovable Lucas turns out to be the trainer he was talking about. Adrienne giggles and they go jogging together at the park ... Once he heads home, JJ lies to Jen and Paige that the story to Kyle was DEAD in the water when he got to his place. They are relieved and he informs Jen he just lost his phone, hence the no contact. He knows she had something to take care of for the Horton Center and sends her on her way. Alone with Paige, JJ cranks up the music and updates his dream girl on the biggest truth he now knows. Clyde Weston is the biggest drug dealer in Salem! Paige wants to tell the police. JJ insists no cops cos then Clyde would come after them. He tells Paige to stay away from crazy Clyde and act like nothing is wrong if she happens to run into him. He even killed Kyle! Paige gets quiet. She thanks him for warning her. JJ has plans to protect Paige and go after Clyde on his own. Translation: Jump Street JJ has gone rogue again ... D.A. Justin must tell Chad that for now he is free to go. He leers to get a good lawyer. Chad takes off. Justin grins he cannot wait to send the DiMera to Statesville. Rafe has no answer to that. The shadows of the office reflect the shadows of his thoughts, unlike Justin, who is all about black and white ... Hope surprises Aiden at his office but alas announces she cannot say yes at this moment. Aiden acts understanding and upbeat about the future cos she is the one for him. They kiss and she is summoned back to the station. After she flounces out Aiden is ready to explode. He gasps what is he going to do, he promised! He then picks something up from his desk and throws it against the wall. It shatters along with his high hopes. But tomorrow is another day ... THE END!
