PART 1 - At the pub, Sami gets miffed at Rafe and insists she is thinking for herself. The evidence shows John is guilty. She remembers RoboJohn the cold man of the past and wonders if that is the personality who returned. Rafe disagrees. Sami becomes petulant and he assures her he is on her side. Sami laments Marlena was always on John's side and she wishes she would not blindly do it still. Rafe reminds her that she has a better relationship with her mother now. Sami realizes he is right. She now understands, for she would defend Rafe forever. Rafe promises her he is there. She knows she is being overly sensitive. He tells her he loves her. She smiles she knows. He puts his arm around her and they agree they will not let this case come between them. They agree to disagree on the case. She offers him her hand. He grabs and dips her in a kiss. - Gladiator Brady and his wench Madison enter the town square party and he admires her skimpy outfit. Nicole comes up behind him and flirts. When the introductions are made, Nicole realizes who she is and asks how they know each other. She learns Titan has acquired Mad World Cosmetics. Nicole notes they must be working together and forces a smile when Madison boasts Brady is a sweetheart. She steps away to get something to drink, leaving Brady and Nicole alone. He points out he is not drinking, as he is with an employee. Nicole teases him about the way he looks at her. Brady claims they are friends. Nicole quips like they were - friends with benefits. The mood gets light and she is grateful that they can still be friends. So is he and he now poses a friendly question. He has heard she is working for EJ. She confirms she is indeed EJ's publicist. Brady's eyes darken. Why the hell would she do something so stupid! He implores her to wake up and see that EJ is using her again. Nicole is not fussed. He reminds her of all the times he has picked up the pieces. She insists this time they are strictly business. There is no romance. He warns there better not, be cos if he hurts her again, he will break that son of a b**** in half! - Jen admits to Dan she is thinking of Jack. But not because she misses him. She praises Dan for not being the kind of guy who pulls stunts and tricks. She does not believe Jack is able to change and glances at the tall figure in the scary mask. When he bolts, she excuses herself and races after him. She catches up with the figure and blasts him, calling him Jack. She snaps he should start acting like an adult! Cowboy Abe approaches Jen to talk about the campaign. Jen turns around. The figure vanishes. - As grandmother and granddaughter face each other as such for the first time, Maggie tells Mel she always thought there was something special. She grew to love her just like family. Mel emotionally declares that fate brought them together and they embrace. Hope whispers to Bo it was fate and some help from Alice! They all hug. Victor arrives from the airport in a suit and is delighted to see his beloved. She gushes that they found her son and his granddaughter. They live in Salem and they know them! In fact, Victor knows her son very very well. She announces that Daniel is her son. The color drains from Victor's face. He regains his composure and replies he has been Dan's godfather for years. Bo and Hope inform him that Dan's mother had the same name as the woman who was implanted with Maggie's eggs, and the date matches. They have yet to confirm with DNA testing. Vic thinks it is incredible. Mel exclaims they must tell papa Dan. Maggie watches him with the fair Jen and is not sure how to break the news. She enlists Bo and Hope to join her as she and Mel walk toward him. Victor stares darkly. - Marlena is mortified when EJ approaches her and masked man John. He would like a quick word. She claims it is a bad time. He wants to talk about John (meanwhile cloaked, masked John's back is turned). Marlena suggests he drop the lawsuit. EJ refuses and asks for a word in private. He asks disguised John to give them privacy. Marlena politely asks "Mr. Whitmore" for a moment. John silently steps away. EJ wants Marlena to know the lawsuit is not personal. She begs to differ. He informs her he does not want this to have adverse effects on Sydney and Johnny. The kids are young and so they should make sure everything stays civilized. Marlena thinks it is too late and considers his peace offering as well as his demeanor condescending. He can go straight to ... Graceland! He is nothing but a thug in a nice suit! EJ alludes to the people of Salem making him their mayor. Marlena lectures him about using them. EJ taunts that John was the one who stole their money. Marlena retorts her John is no criminal. EJ claims she is making him out to be the crook, though he is only doing what is right. She suggests he really do what is right and drop the lawsuit! EJ declares he will stand by the people. Marlena reminds him he is lucky he is not behind bars for what he did to Samantha. EJ notes she shot him. Marlena notes he shot her husband and gets sarcastic. EJ warns her he tried to offer her an olive branch. She warns him she is not leaving Salem and if he goes up against her family, he will find she is a powerful enemy indeed. "You can just ask your daddy about that! He'll tell you!" EJ departs with a smirk. Marlena sighs. - When the gang approach baffled Dan, Mel urges Maggie to break the news. The redhead states she recently found out she had a grown child she never knew about. Jen gasps upon hearing it. Maggie adds thanks to the investigating of Bo and Hope, she has found her son. Dan is happy for her. Maggie elaborates. "I have reason to believe that YOU are my child and that I'm your mother." Dan's eyes narrow ... Read Part 2 - click here! |
