ENCHANTED PART 1 - At the happy house of Kiriakis, Maggie giggles and feeds fiancé Victor dessert. Enter Mel, who is there on official maid of honor business. There are things to figure out. Dresses, cake, and more! Mel goes back to the car to get the fabric examples. Vic drawls all he needs for a perfect wedding is his Maggie. She gushes. He loves to see her so happy. The redhead says to just wait until she says I do! They kiss. Mel comes back and remarks they are acting like they are on their honeymoon already. Victor reminds her how in love they are. Mel now appears a tad sad and Maggie presses her. She admits she married Phil in this very same room once upon a time. She hopes she will find the right love someday. Maggie assures her she has her whole life ahead of her. She advises her to never think of what might have been, but to experience what is wonderful. Mel is sorry she was a Debbie downer and gets to work. They excitedly look at the magazines for dresses and more. The Greek tycoon suggests he make himself scarce. When they tease him, he reminds them the groom is not supposed to see the bride. Mel is now surprised to hear that Maggie already bought the perfect gown the other day. And so Victor grudgingly stays. Henderson soon enters, carrying boxes for Mel. He has the maid of honor dresses she liked, courtesy of Victor. Maggie kisses her Greek tycoon and smiles he is something! - At Horton house, Chad hugs Abigail and offers his sympathy about the Jack situation. She wishes he could get her dad out of town. Chad presents her with a basket of goodies and fun things. She is cheered up. She now finds a coupon for a free back massage. Abigail wants to start with that, in a little while. They kiss. - At the park, Jack complains to Adrienne and Justin about Dan, who has an unnatural tan in October, and had the nerve to say that he was not trustworthy. Jen threw them both out! Adrienne thinks Dan is right. Jack, she points out, has been an ass. Jack acknowledges he was responsible for what happened, as he left town, but he has a plan. Justin is curious what it is. Jack declares he is staying in Salem to prove that he can be counted on! Adrienne is not impressed, as words are cheap. He needs actions! Justin states when he was talking to Chad the other day ... Jack wonders who that is and soon learns he is a DiMera who happens to be dating his daughter. His face falls. Is it serious? Adrienne replies it is indeed. Jack starts to hyperventilate about his daughter hooking up with the spawn of Dracula. Adrienne tries to calm him down, but Jack races off to save Abigail before it is too late. Justin notes Jack seems to be his own worst enemy. - At the pub, Hope studies the bank statements with Bo, in case there is something they have overlooked. All of a sudden, a woman enters and serves Hope! She opens the envelope and reads, shocked to find a cease and desist order, to stop her from looking into Alice's account. The plot thickens! Bo notes the order came from the Hewitt and Lowell law firm and Erin Hewitt is the lawyer of record. They decide to go see the Hewitt lawyer, to find out more, as this is the first time they have seen that name. - At the townhouse, Marlena is stunned that John has asked her for a divorce. He insists it is what he wants, for her protection. She exclaims she does not want protection. Without him, she has no life! John takes a deep breath. He is sorry if he sounded rather harsh. Marlena assures him she only wants to be by his side. The safest place for her is with him. He does not agree, for there are people making death threats. What about her life? She could get caught in the crossfire and he is not willing to take that risk! Therefore, she must cut all ties from him. Marlena refuses any divorce. John agrees, but only if she publicly denounces him and stays far away. If he gets lucky, then in the end they can be together again. She shakes her fair head when he adds he must let her go to keep her safe. Marlena emotionally reminds him she is standing by him no matter what, as per their wedding vows. John laments he has not even been able to make love to his wife yet. She explains their love is not contingent on him taking her to bed. He urges her to walk away, as he has already put her through enough. Marlena stands her ground. The entire family will stand by him. She believes in him and knows he is innocent, just as she knows without question that he is the only man for her! Stressed John rubs his forehead with a hand. Marlena smiles that the family will not be pushed away. He wonders if she realizes how ugly this ordeal will get. She does, but if they face it together, it will be that much less scary. She strokes his back and make him a promise ... - Bo and Hope are at the office of Erin Hewitt, who has been expecting them. She knew Alice well and Hope is baffled she is not defensive. She smiles Alice was her friend. She worked with her and Tom on a lot of matters. Bo wonders what kind of legal matters, but she is not permitted to divulge more. She can only say she handled certain personal matters. Hope wonders if she can tell them why the account was a secret. She retorts there is nothing she can tell them about any of it when they show her the statements they found. The agreement she had made with Alice superceded her death. Hope insists her grandmother would want her not to be worried. The lawyer agrees she is right. Hope implores her to just tell her. The lawyer is sorry, as she is bound by confidentiality. Hope asks if she can share any other documents with her. That she can do, as some are not covered by the confidentiality agreement. If Hope leaves her name with the assistant, she will have those other files within the hour. Hope thanks her, wishes her a good day, and flounces out with Bo. They will have something soon ... - Back at the house, Abigail wants to cash in her massage coupon. She pulls her top down at the shoulders and Chad massages her shoulders, kissing her neck.
