FAST FALLOUT!

- Replay of Kristen insisting she called John and left him many messages. Marlena flashes back to her deleting message mischief and points out Brady is fine, no need to fret. Kristen pouts as John demands to know what kind of sick game she is playing. Kristen insists she made those
calls, though John finds nothing on his phone. Brady pipes up from his hospital bed and recalls he heard her leave one of those messages. John now gets it. He is sorry he was not here for Brady, apologizes to Kristen, and storms out. Marlena goes after him. Once they are alone, he demands she fess up about deleting his missing messages!
- Still in Sami’s office, Rafe is perplexed. He wonders what is going on with Gabi. Sami points out she is working at the pub with Nick Fallon. Rafe stands up with an angry sigh and deduces they are sleeping together. Rafe is ready to run over and confront the ex-con. Sami defends Nick
as someone who has changed his life. Rafe grumbles he will have to go have another talk with the guy. Sami now informs him that Gabi and
Nick are in love. Rafe sarcastically snaps that is beautiful. They have known each other all of 5 minutes! Sami now admits she is breaking someone’s confidence in doing this. Rafe growls he already warned the felon he would kill him if he so much as touched a hair on his sister’s head. Sami argues that brother Rafe would be disrespecting Gabi if he
went after her lover.
- Will is stunned to hear that Gabi wants an abortion. She notes he is
gay, she is straight, and they have school. This is not an ideal scenario. Will does not deny it and asks if this is what she wants. Gabi emotionally states how much he always meant to her. Would this make him hate her? He reminds her he was the one who initiated their fling when she was in bad shape. He admits he took advantage of her that night and could only hate himself, never her. She must decide what is right for her body. She cries this is his baby as well and therefore he needs to think it over. If he cannot live with this, she will not do it. Will remains firm that this is her decision but she believes it is theirs. They must agree. Will sighs and takes a few steps, then sits down on the bed. He promises he will always be her friend no matter what. He points out she will be the one who will have to carry and give birth to the baby. Her life would change drastically much more than his. “So whatever you want I want and whatever you decide to do I’m going to be there.” Gabi is relieved and rests her unhappy head on his shoulder.
- Brady notices that John seemed uncharacteristically angry with Marlena and wonders why. Kristen does not wish to get involved and advises him to ask his dad or stepmother directly. A frown creases Brady’s brow.
- Marlena claims she did not think it was important for John to see any messages from Kristen, who continued to hound him but John is miffed she did not seem to trust him! She explains she had assumed it was another one of her ploys but John blames her. Marlena steps away and laments he is right.
- Lucas saunters into the coffee house, orders a large half caff from Sonny, and adds they might need to talk. Sonny stares.
- Sami gets Rafe a glass of water. He does not agree that protecting his sister from Fallon is the same as disrespecting her. Sami reasons it shows he does not trust her judgment. Gabi will walk away from him, just like she did upon realizing he had no faith in her. Rafe insists he does have faith. Sami informs him he must prove it by letting Gabi make her own decisions and live her life the way she wants to. Rafe stands up and goofily grins she is right, though he does not like his sister and Nick
being an item. For a brief moment, he looks intensely at Sami, then
thanks her, and leaves to tell his sister he knows everything. Sami gasps and he stops in his tracks. What has she still not told him?
- Maggie storms into Brady’s room and exclaims to the patient that she heard what happened. She is surprised to find Kristen there and smiles
as pleasantly as she can muster. Kristen gushes she has heard she got married to Victor, says hurrah for love, and gives them their privacy.
The redhead wants to know what she was doing there. Brady mutters it
is a long story. She reminds him she is his sponsor. He realizes she was worried it was something like a drug deal gone bad and tells her the tale
of the two muggers. She is sympathetic and relieved he is alright. But
why was he running after Kristen? What has that woman done this time? “Not a damn thing,” sighs Brady. However, she has been conveniently running into John a great deal. Maggie suggests he worry about himself instead of John and Marlena.
- Kristen tiptoes up to Marlena and John and sweetly wonders if all is well. Marlena accuses her of knowing all along that she had deleted
John’s messages. So why did she not call anyone else for Brady? Kristen pretends she did not have anyone else’s number to call and tried to do the right thing. Marlena loses her cool and accuses her of hiring the muggers. John calmly warns her to let up. Marlena points out it is no coincidence how this all played out. Kristen claims to John that she has been trying,
an insincere tear glistening in her eye. Why, she even quit her job as Sami’s boss and then tried to help Brady when he was being mugged. However, next time she will keep her distance. It appears there is no getting past the past. She starts to walk away. Johns wants to stop her. Marlena warns her to leave and tells the conniving bitch to crawl back under her rock! Kristen stares at her in utter disbelief. John is at a loss for words.
- Lucas and Sonny sit and talk at a table. They admit they both pushed each other. Lucas explains it was tough for him to accept his son is gay but he is doing his best. He concedes that he has to change and change
he shall for his son. “I love Will very much." Sonny grins they have that
in common! Lucas remarks if he loves Will, then they both want what is best for him. The two realize that would be to get along. Lucas remarks he is not going anywhere, Neither is Sonny. Lucas grins that is settled and pleasantly adds he will be seeing him around!
- Gabi is ready to call the clinic right here right now. Will is curious if she gave any consideration to adoption. Gabi has, though she suspects her parents would offer to help and she would agree, only to end up the parent. Will suspects his family would do the same. Gabi adds the world would be a better place if it was filled with only wanted children. Will
does too. She explains she was feeling lost before and now finally found who she was. It is because of Nick. Will understands, as he has found Sonny. He senses she fears they will have to give them up if they keep
the baby.
- Sami wants Rafe to promise he will not go ballistic after what she tells him. He presses her to give him the intel and he means the sensitive stuff she is hesitating to share. He sits back down and waits. Sami first wants him to know that Nick and Gabi are in love. She goes on to defend Nick the changed man. Rafe forces a smile and urges her to just tell him so
they can talk about it. “Gabi’s pregnant!” Sami now blurts out.
- Gabi glances at a picture of herself with Nick and frowns. Will notes
she never had with anyone what she seems to have found with Nick.
Gabi could say the same about him and Sonny. She wants kids but not now … “And not with me,” he finishes. She wonders whether he wants
to tell Sonny. Will confesses he is to afraid to confide in him about this matter, as he is not certain how he might react. He woefully recounts
how his parents had him too young and were still chasing their dreams.
As a result, they passed him off on others. He would not want his child
to grow up feeling how he was made to feel. Gabi assumes he is agreeing it is the right thing to do. He woefully nods. He asks how much she will
be needing. As it turns out, together they do not have the required $350 but Will promises to get it. Gabi reminds him his mom is another problem. After the procedure she will tell her she lost the baby. Will wonders when she wants the abortion. Today. The sooner the better, before anyone else finds out … or anyone tries to run their lives. Unbeknownst to them,
Sami is already making things worse ...!.
