Up by early afternoon November 15 AMBUSH! - Still at the pub, Sami continues to assert that Nicole is worse than ever so Eric should stay away. He thinks he has no reason to worry but Sami does. If he sees her, he should pull out some holy water, etc! He explains priests do not do that. She urges him to keep her at bay, however he must. Eric would not throw her out if she showed up at St. Luke’s. Sami insists he must stay away from her. John enters with a greeting and a slap and hug for Eric. Marlena puts an arm around Sami and gushes it does not get any better than this.The Church has sent their boy home and the Bradys are grateful. Sami and Eric joke like when they were kids. Marlena would like to know what he has been up to. So would John. Eric is curious if there is something HE needs to know. Father Tobias interrupts with a chuckle and an announcement that the rest of Eric’s belongings have arrived. He promises to be in touch soon and hugs Marlena. As John and Marlena exit, the old priest notes he will miss having him on the board. Marlena is curious about that. John will explain later and ushers the blonde out. While Tobias keeps busy with a call, Eric excitedly tells Sami he got presents for the kids. She thinks he did not have to do that. She now teases many women’s hearts will be broken to hear he is now a priest … - Nicole lurks by the town square gate. She stands up when EJ steps out of the darkness. He calmly claims he would like to chat. Her tragic eyes flicker. He asks what is the matta? Does he make her nervous? She recalls the eerie look he gave her at the hospital. He sits on the bench and sighs she took away the joys of impending fathahood from him. But where does she think they would be if she had been truthful? She stammers they would be at the same place they are now. He drawls then she has nothing to fear. Nicole is still standing and cringing. She suspects his thugs are close behind, ready to exact DiMera revenge for their master. But EJ thinks what she has done to herself is the worst thing that could have happened to her so there is nothing for him to do She suffered the worst possible loss - twice. Then she made it even worse after she lost her baby. He taunts Nicole that everyone adores Jennifer Horton. She attempted to make an innocent girl pay for what she lost, but now Jen the good is with Dr. Jonas. EJ is smug she did not take her own life. He sarcastically notes she must have thought she would see her dead babies in heaven. She is in a hell of her own making and the men she used do not love her so there shall be no second chance or second look from himself, Brady, and Dan. She whispers to shut up. He warns his words will resonate in her lonely head. He hopes she will enjoy the fact that she is alone the rest of her miserable life . “I know I will!” EJ now walks off into the night. Nicole is close to a breakdown. - In her office, Jen realizes who is at her door. “Daniel,” she gasps in surprise. He reminds her she wanted to talk. She stammers she thought that was later. He offers to come back another time. She insists he stay now and explains an old friend stopped by and got her frazzled. It made her realize who her true friends are and how much they mean. She finds some papers, grins, and announces she has something that could change his whole life! The medicine man peers at what she is holding ... - At the church, Kristen demands to know why Brady is replacing John on the board. To keep her the hell away from him! Kristen is all business and claims she is there to represent the good people of the parish. Brady smugly informs her he had the meeting postponed, so they can talk alone. He warns her she will have to deal with him instead of spending time with his father from this moment forward! He growls she will not get to his dad anymore unless she goes through him. She claims he knows nothing about her and dismisses his suspicions. He calls her a world class bitch. She raises her hand to strike his face so he grabs her wrist with a scowl. “And a feisty one too!” She leers to let her go. He does. She hisses he is trying to play the hero, when in reality he is nothing but a former addict. He threatens to send her out of town in a box. They exchange a few more words and she decides she is out of there. Kristen storms out. “I’m not done with you yet,” decides Brady and he goes after her. - Abigail runs into texting Chad at the hospital. She is carrying a bouquet of flowers He wonders if she is visiting someone. Just her mom on her first day back at work He hopes Abigail is hanging in there. She smiles she is. Chad stammers he and Theo have an ice cream date and invites her to join them. She would love to! - Father Eric comes upon weeping Nicole on a park bench and gently asks what he can do to help. She sniffles her suffering was her own doing. He offers to listen and takes her by the hand, leading her to another place. - Dan is now seated in Jen’s office, reading her research into the clinical trial she found. She reasons he would be the perfect candidate as the injection might stop his tremors and get him back in the OR. He is very curious when and where she heard about this. Recently, in an early press release. He deduces she was then sidetracked. She does not deny it. He cannot believe she had done this for him and appears overwhelmed. She smiles she hopes he will follow through and get in as long as it is available. He will look into it further and let her know. He thanks her and their faces get closer. She whispers he deserves good news and primly returns to her desk. He announces he will take this home and start reading. She wishes him luck. He thanks her and exits, then stops outside her door and rubs his neck. Jen sighs. - Chad has picked up little Theo at the hospital. Abigail wishes to check on her mom before they go. Distracted Dan walks by and she asks him if Jen is in her office. She is. Dan keeps walking. Jen now comes along and Abigail hands her the flowers. She hopes things are alright with Daniel now. Jen assures her they are fine. He is just busy with his research. Jen loves the flowers and sends her daughter on her way. All of a sudden, she spies the printout she had given Dan - in the trash! She fishes it out of the garbage and frowns. - Kristen walks through the darkness all alone when a seedy character blocks her path. She haughtily asks him to excuse her. The unshaven creep smirks. Can she help him? He demands her designer watch, what else is in her handbag, and they will take it from there! He takes a step closer and he is not the only mysterious mugger ...
