Episode 12,082 - John and Kristen’s almost kiss has been interrupted by Brady banging on the door, calling for his beloved. He wonders why the door is locked. She opens it and acts like she did not intend to lock the door. She was looking through wedding things for the big day. John is quietly concealed behind the door. Brady hopes all is well. She explains she was emotional earlier about his wonderful announcement and promises to join him upstairs in a few. Brady is about to leave but a noise stops him in his tracks. "What was that?" John does not make a move. Kristen claims there are rats in the walls and kisses her boy wonder, now sending him upstairs. The door is closed again. John is curious about Brady’s wonderful announcement. She airily states he arranged for them to adopt a child. John wonders. Kristen quips he knows the way out and takes her leave. John picks up her heirloom pearl necklace, pockets it with a grin, and sneaks out. Kristen now joins Brady upstairs. She perceives he is perturbed. Brady suddenly snaps he knows she was not telling him the truth about what was happening down in the secret room and it concerns John! Kristen freezes. - Father Eric finishes praying for family peace when vision in blue Marlena arrives. The priest has summoned her. He serves the rectory coffee and asks about John. She realizes Nicole updated him on the drama at the pub. Eric is extremely concerned. The blonde whispers she always assumed she and John would find their way back together, yet now she is afraid the marriage is over. Tears stream down her fair face. All feels lost as long as John is not communicating or trying with her. Eric wishes he could do something. Perhaps he can. He suggests they go for a walk and put their heads together. She agrees and they walk out into the Salem night. - Abigail joins keen Cam at the coffee house and admits her mom is and is not thrilled JJ is back! She suspects he is not giving them the whole story. She would rather talk about Cam, who shares his news that he has a new part time custodial job. She feels badly he will not be earning as much as when he was dancing for dollars. He grins he would rather mop than dance nekid. He refers to their togetherness and she blushes but only for a moment. She now shakes her glossy mane and announces that she is ready to be together to show him how much she cares in every way. Cam grins like a guy. He then catches himself and assures his girl he respects her. She assures him she will be ready for the big event soon. They agree they will both know when the timing is right. - Dan greets JJ at the door of the usually hospitable Horton house. JJ shakes his hand with sarcasm and charm. Dan asks if mom is home. She is on the phone. Dan hopes he can wait inside. JJ lets him in and sarcastically suggests to make himself at home, since he already has! Dan uneasily offers to come back later but JJ just grins and offers him a seat. He stares him down until Jen comes back. She starts to tell JJ she wants to talk to him yet the teen excuses himself for a sandwich. Jen solemnly tells Dan she was not expecting him. Her eyes mirror her concern for her son. She needs to speak with JJ alone. Dan reminds his ladylove that he is here for her and is looking forward to getting to know her boy. She gasps her thanks and he exits after a sweet kiss. Jen now demands JJ come out for a talk. His headmaster called her and she knows that he was expelled from his school in England for dealing drugs! - Sami has just been grabbed by Nick the unshaven loon. She struggles. He leers she is coming with him! He drags her into the ally, sneering that she and her precious son cannot have everything they want, and demands she give him his money right now! Sami is petrified. He warns her not to mess with a felon and roughly tries to frisk her for the cash. Super Sami knees him in the groin and Nick goes down with a groan! She now whips out her gun and threatens to blow him away. Has he forgotten she is engaged to EJ DiMera! Nick gasps about the money. Sami leers it must be dirty money so maybe she should give it back and call Commissioner Roman with a friendly tip. Nick comes closer and warns he can do more damage. He recovers enough to whip out a recording he plays. Will’s voice admits he was the one who shot EJ. They appear to be at a standstill but not for long! - Rafe solemnly saunters into the pub and urges Will to come clean. Will plays it cool. Rafe stares him in the eye and talks Nick. Something is not right. He wants to know the real reason Nick does not want him in the baby’s life. Will explains he does not want Gabi to have any stress. Rafe senses there is a deep dark secret about Nick. What exactly did he do to force Will to sign away his parental rights and why did the former felon turn on him? The answer is gonna shock him to the core ... - At the town square, John watches Eric and Marlena as they walk. They stop. John and Marlena’s eyes lock with longing ...
