Episode 12,097 - Jen is at the nurse’s station when Maggie waltzes in carrying a bridesmaid dress. Jen appreciates it. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Kiriakis will also be attending the wedding, of which they do not approve. Dan appears and drawls said wedding is officially OFF. They work their phones for more information. Dan and Jen cannot reach Kristen or Brady. Maggie decides to speak with Victor. It is crazy! Just like someone slashing Dan’s tires! Dan and Jen will catch up later. Jen heads home and Maggie returns to Dan, having visited Will. They discuss JJ and Dan wonders what he was like as a boy. Sweet , smart, funny. The redhead hopes they are getting along. Dan pauses. He assumes the lad is having a tough time, given he lost his dad, just as Jen suggested. Maggie thanks God he is home. Dan hopes to be there for the two of them, though he seems to have his suspicions about the boy. - Meanwhile, JJ and his pal are hanging out at the Horton living room. The stoner boys joke about slashing tires and realize they need more stuff. The pal suggests they buy some stash and sell at a profit to fund their own habit. JJ gets an idea on how to get some cash. He soon spies mama Jen arriving home and kicks out his stoner buddy, who exits through the back. JJ greets his mom with an insincere smile and asks about the wedding. She sighs that changed and asks what he has been doing. He slept late and lies he feels badly. He feels remorse about messing up at boarding school and then some and wants to make her proud. He will do well in summer school and will repay Dr. Jonas for the broken train and mp3. Jen is pleased to hear it and giggles she herself was no angel as a teenager. She has no idea JJ is hiding drugs and drug related apparatus in their humble home. The lying son states he will find a job. However, Jen, as he slyly predicted, thinks it would be too much with summer school. He just wants to be able to pay back Daniel and buy his own books. Jen suddenly decides her son needs cash and writes him a check to cover his expenses and then some. JJ smirks she has no idea what this means to him! But he does not feel good about the fact that he will be needing more. Jen suggests a part time job at the coffee house. He recalls what Jack said about hard work. Jen suddenly decides Jack would want him to focus on his studies. She now writes him another check to cover any debts and a fresh start at summer school. The sniffling youth grins she is the best and smugly hugs her. - John is deep in thought at the pub. Victor approaches and cackles he got the text about the cancelled wedding between his grandson and the DiMera she devil. He compliments him for exposing her. John sighs and drinks his coffee. Victor snaps did he not get what he wanted! John admits his own plan did not go as anticipated and flashes back to Kristen. She was a step ahead of him until she was not. It is over and the wedding is off but no thanks to him! - Nicole has been sitting on a park bench all night long with Brady, the almost groom. He is not even sure where home is now. It was with Kristen but it was all a big damn lie. She thinks he needs to rest but he thinks there is no hope. He considers himself a fool who always gets duped by women. Nicole gives him a pep talk but he feels falling for Kristen was the worst thing he has ever done. However, he really loved her and yet he was wrong about what they shared! He blinks back the tears. - EJ is at the coffee house, on the phone, confessing he does not wish to go to this wedding. He asks Sami dahling to give William his best. He now spies Chad and they discuss Kristen. EJ assumes she is with a stylist. Chad, however, overheard a couple of coffee drinking cops talk about taking her down to the station last night. EJ grimaces. - Kristen has been sitting in Detective Hope’s office all night long, refusing to cooperate or discuss the damning photograph. Stefano waltzes in with a slick lawyer and announces the interrrrrogation is over! Unless Hope plans to make an arrest. The DiMera lawyer demands an answer. Is she making an arrest? Hope admits there will be no arrest at this time. The DiMera lawyer now escorts his free client from the office. Hope quips she will have enough to hold the suspect when she has Sy! Stefano states he is a red herring and this is a farcical waste of time! Hope, however, thinks Brady would not agree. After they return to the mansion, Stefano asks his dear Kristen to enlighten him. She does and confesses she is in love with Brady. She did not wish to lose him. The phoenix notes but she did. Enter EJ and Chad. EJ wonders wot is going on. Kristen would like a moment alone with her brothers in the pretty room where she was to be wed. Exit the phoenix. Kristen now claims the damning picture of her paying the mugger is not true, it is a fraud. Chad accepts the explanation. EJ pauses and casually asks about Brady. He did not take it well and called of their wedding. EJ is no fool and so he asks Chad to give him a moment alone with sister Kristen. She warns him no lectures. He shares his bewilderment that she is actually upset. She laments the man she loves dumped her. He gets sarcastic about her so-called feelings for the likes of Brady Black. Kristen pours herself a drink and insists their relationship was real. EJ reminds her she was merely seducing him to cause trouble for her old enemies John and Marlena. That was the plan but then things changed and it all went to hell. He muses at least she is not in jail and she bitterly laughs. He assures her there is always a bright side and sits in the pretty wedding chair beside her, calling her strong and resilient. Kristen looks away in pain and he offers to do wot he can to help her move on. Kristen now alludes to the fact that she has no intention of moving on despite her fall from Brady’s good graces! Who ever said anything about moving on ...? - Victor settles at John’s table and wonders what made Brady finally come to his senses. John raises an eyebrow. It only matters that the mission was accomplished. The Greek tycoon notices he is not happy about it. John remembers Brady’s accusation that he was with his beloved Kristen and now finds out from Victor that he must be with Nicole, who sent him the text about the wedding cancellation. He grumbles she is the lesser of two evils. John starts to make a call and drawls he has to talk to his son. Meanwhile, Nicole sees an incoming call from John. Brady urges her to ignore it. She does. Brady now decides he should be alone and stands up, explaining he needs space. Nicole is sympathetic and assures him things will get better. He has fallen and picked himself up before. She solemnly reminds him that he needs others who love him to help him get through this. - EJ sits with an arm around his sister and asks about her definition of not moving on. Does this mean she will not move on from Brady or seeking revenge on John and Marlena ...? - Marlena joins Eric at rectory. The wedding is off and Brady and Kristen are finished! The priest gets her coffee and she finishes telling him the whole sordid story. Eric notes Brady fell in love with the schemer. Marlena complains he is not returning her messages. Father Hunky hopes their family can start to heal, including Brady as well as John and Marlena. He is convinced the supercouple will work things out. Silence. Eric wonders. Does she not think they will be able to overcome? Marlena flashes back to Kristen boasting about being in bed with John. Back to reality. The blonde will only say she is worried about Brady and wants Kristen in jail! Hope enters and laments she is not there just yet. Kristen is still walking free. They need to find Sy and offer him a deal in order to implicate the DiMera she devil. Marlena is disappointed, but understands. Hope is optimistic and will be in touch. Nicole now arrives and assures Marlena that Brady is in very good hands as they speak ... Read Part 2 of Falling plus Spoilers ...! |
